I have had the privilege of working with the astronauts of several space shuttle missions to design their crew insignias,

STS-98 launched February 2001, delivered the
Destiny laboratory module to the International
Space Station (ISS).

STS-111 launched June 2002, shuttled a new
crew to ISS and returned previous residents.

STS-120 launched October 2007, delivered and installed “Harmony” Node 2 to ISS, shuttled a new crew member and returned a previous resident.

Following the March 2003 space shuttle Columbia tragedy I created the STS-107 Memorial patch to honor the seven crew members. My design was selected by NASA’s emblem manufacturer, A-B Emblem, as the “official” memorial logo design and was used on clothing produced by Land’s End and other memorial products. At my request, profits from its use will be donated to the memorial funds.
