This is our WWII drama: Wounds of Sand. The story takes place during World War Two, drawing inspiration
mostly from Steven Spielberg's "Saving Private Ryan" and the popular "Call of Duty" game series.
1943, Tunisia. The Americans have made their first large scale encounter with Nazi Germany at Kasserine Pass. Having lost
nearly all their squad during the Axis blitzkrieg, Sgt. Benjamin Fox, Cpl. Scott Paige, and Pvt. Gary Baxter fight to survive
with the aid of Nyoka, a mysterious mercenary from the British SAS. Haunting Benjamin are the memories of Jane, the only woman
he ever loved. With a squad that faces certain annihilation, Benjamin seeks the respect of a stranger, reconciliation with
his best friend, and closure to his past during one of the Allies’ harshest defeats in a tale of friendship, teamwork,
love, and war.
