About the Wife: female; married, planning on staying in-love all my life; nurse(RN) since 1983 & lots of red-tape; enjoy puzzles, reading, victorian dance, Chocolate, movies, music, X-files, Regis & Kathy show, and my husband.
About the Husband: male; married with a delightful lady; I am a computer programmer, part-time photographer, & x-fairey; I am interested in sci-fi, ancient history, anthropology, dancing, all types of ideas; punny guy...I go from "bad" to "voice". I know that I could not have a better partner & wife!
Personal ideal: Every day.... be nice to someone; take several moments to savor the day (sunshine/sky/breeze/beauty); think about the 'special someone' in your life & rejoice; call that person & just say 'thinking of you'; call a friend and do the same; learn something new; share something interesting or fun or usefull; and always remember family.
These pages are presented for sharing ideas and places and thoughts .....so: its eclectic. (Look it up) The purpose(?) is to have fun with ideas, and share return-ideas with those similarly interested. Well, enough of that. Here are some of favorite enjoyments and some links to other fun site places.
We both work at demanding & interesting & hectic jobs; outside of that we divide our time into ... alone time, together, family, friends. We think that married like should continue the thoughfulness and emotions we shared when dating/engaged/newlyweds. So we still hug & say 'I love you' and give surprise little gifts & cards ... for no special reason other than the 'other person is special always'.
Time Alone:..
Everyone has need of time by themselves, to reflect or ponder or just relax. Every day. We each have an area of the home where we can be alone, closed doors, private. Try it!Time Together:..
We like to be together & do things together. It does not have to be big: we cuddle & watch TV or news or a movie; we walk in a park and hold hands; we call each other once each day; we hug goodby & hello. We enjoy eating out .... Greek food at Daphne's in the Glendale Galleria, Continental cuisine at Chadneys in Burbank, La Bamba Island cafe(Cuban foods) in E. Burbank(N Glenoaks), some barbecue ribs at The Original Texas (Sunset/Figuroa) in Los Angeles, or just out to a local IHOP or Dennys or such! Dancing is how we met, and so we go to Victorian Dances several times a year, expecially December, our anniversary. We go out to some family and friends parties, and to some Mensa socials too.Time for Family/Friends:..
Although I don't have much of a family, my wife has relatives all over! So, we call, see, get together, send e-mails, all the above. You can never have too many 'fun & nice' people in your life. So, we enjoy them when we can arrange schedules!
