**Mama Meows Recipes**
LEMON NUT BURST
Makes 20 servings.
2 tbs heavy cream 2 cups powdered sugar 3/4 cup
sliced almonds or hazelnuts 1 lemon, zested, juiced 3/4 cup evaporated milk 16 oz box pound cake mix
Heat oven to 350°. Prepare cake mix according to package
directions, substituting milk for liquid. Add 1 tbs lemon zest and 1/2 cup nuts. Divide batter between 2 greased and
floured loaf pans. Bake 35 min. or until done. Let cool in pans 5 min. Remove from pans. In bowl, blend powdered sugar,
cream and 3 tbs lemon juice, drizzle over cakes. Sprinkle with remaining nuts, then SERVE...
