  •  Friday, March 14, 2008--Friday Night Lute Smackdown is back!  Phil Rukavina and I will be performing some of our favorite pieces for solo lute as well as a fair number of duets at the Coffee Grounds Coffee House (1579 Hamline Avenue in Falcon Heights--just south of Larpenteur Avenue) from 8:00-10:00pm.

  • Friday, March28, 2008--Back at the Madhatter for another evening of solo lute, Renaissance (or thereabouts) poetry and (if you ask me really nice) perhaps a bit of legerdemain and mental chicanery as well.  The fun starts at 7:00pm.  Come early and get a good seat!

  • Friday, April 18, 2008--Solo lute, poetry and whatnot at the Madhatter Coffee Cafe and Teahouse from 7:00-9:00pm.

  • Thursday, April 24, 2008--It's time for Thursday at the Lute Cafe, and this show will be the last concert in our current season.  I'll be presenting an evening of Scottish lute pieces from the late Renaissance and early Baroque periods.  The Lute Cafe concerts take place in the Village View room at Hillcrest Recreation Center (1978 Ford Parkway in St. Paul's Highland Village--right next to the Highland Library) from 6:30-8:30pm.  There's no admission charged, but a $10 donation is encouraged.
