I am one of them. Angry that my voice, your voice, and the voices of millions of American go ignored. When we do speak out, we are called racist. Jimmy Carter, I am ashamed of you!

I have to admit that I laughed with incredulity at his absolutely absurd statement. I also sit in disbelief at Pelosi's out of left field statements.

Americans are finally showing some gumption -- "guts"--expressing their feelings instead of being led blindly down the garden path wearing rose colored glasses, or jumping ship with the rest of the lemmings. Yet when we speak out... we are the ones who are in the wrong, and attention seems to be deliberately diverted from the government to the people. Suddenly we're the bad guys. What is wrong with this picture?

It reminds of a sociopathic traits, which include blaming everyone else but ones self for what is wrong in life (in this case government blaming the people), and deliberately diverting attention off themselves onto others. This is supposed to be a government of and for the people, but it seems we "people" are suddenly out of the equation.

I am not ashamed to say that I did not vote for Obama. I could care less that he is African American. I didn't vote for him because he had no real practical experience in government leadership. And yes, Palin has more experience than he does. (I wouldn't vote for her either, but you understand what I am saying) It is doubtful that he would have even been hired as CEO to a major car corporation had he applied.

I remember talking to an African-American before the election. She said she was voting for him because he was black. That's it. Her vote had nothing whatsoever to do with his experience or lack thereof. Reverse racism?

I know many extremely intelligent people (Just like Obama--or moreso) who would never entertain the thought of becoming president even if they had the needed experience.
So why did "We" vote for someone with no experience? Were we swayed by eloquent speeches, delivered with a deliberate cadence to entrance us? Was the country trying to be politically correct. Had Obama been white, would he have been elected? I don't think so. Why? Lack of experience, which is now snowballing us into something we are going to be climbing out of for years and years.

And what gets me? Did anyone ask US if this is what we wanted. No. After the fact, we have all the town meetings and anger and frustration at not being heard... but it's too late. And government still isn't listening. They're on a roll and we just got flattened.
