Synopsis:
LILITH, the princess of Hell, had it all--and lost it all when she took the blame for her
lover AZZIE's crime against BELIAL, a demon mobster with visions of grandeur.
Exiled to Earth , stripped of most of her powers, Lili now lives in seclusion, running a magic shop for
tourists and staying out of trouble.
But a human gangster PIERCE, a mercenary hired by a mysterious demon, kidnaps Azzie. Pierce wants Lili to
use her experience with both worlds to find and steal a three piece artifact-- the Book, the Bell and the Candle--if she doesn't,
Azzie is history.
Driven by love and guilt, Lili has no choice but to play the lethal game she has sworn to abandon. She knows
all about artifacts, but she doesn't know a thing about stealing. She has to hire a professional thief.
TRAVIS is an art thief in love with his work. But when Lili makes him an offer he can't refuse, he has no
idea he is about to take on the most dangerous job of his life.
But they aren't the only ones hunting the BBC set. When Lili discovers Pierce's rival is none other than
Belial--now living on Earth and running for President --it is too late to turn back. The Book, the Bell and the Candle aren't
just pretty things locked in high-security museums and private collections --they are the ancient keys to the Hell's own prison--home
to demons even the inhabitants of Hell find way too dangerous.
Pierce works for Shammariel, an extremely diabolic convict ought to be executed pretty soon.
And Belial wants to set the demons free, using his new insane army to reign over the Earth and overtake
Hell itself.
However, until he gets them under his command, he has to keep things undercover--there are laws even in
Hell, you see--and this is the only tiny chance Lili and Travis can use to stop them both.
Together, they must race through reckless heists, competing against the clock, Pierce's schemes and Belial's
people in order to save not only Azzie but the whole humankind.
