Manipulation Written by: Vincent Asbjornsen
Logline: The police chief in a small town investigates the cause of a sudden string of
gruesome suicides. When he discovers that these people were actually coerced into killing themselves, the chief must find
the true killer, before his daughter becomes the next victim.
Synopsis: In Jasmine, a small, close-knit Pacific-coast town, something sinister is
lurking about.
In a courtroom, Dr. Johan Sorensen (60s) is found guilty of giving his female patients Rohypnol (roofies)
and then molesting them. Sorensen is sent to prison, where hes murdered by an inmate. In Zurich, Switzerland, Sorensens son,
Stefan (25), is distraught at the news of his fathers death.
Seven years later: In Jasmine, everyone knows each other, and many of the townspeople frequent the Mystical
Bean, where Rachel (30s) makes tasty coffee drinks. One of her customers is Police Chief Patrick Alvarado (50s). Alvarado
and Rachel give each other eyes, even though he's a married man.
Alvarado soon has his hands full: people in Jasmine begin exhibiting bizarre behavior. A man ties his
arms and legs to four horses and is torn limb from limb; a woman dies after drinking an entire can of salt; a teenage boy
nails himself to a cross. More and more bodies turn up, appearing on the surface to be suicides. But when Alvarado looks deeper,
he finds that there has indeed been foul play.
Working together with Dr. Lazarus Cohn (65), Alvarado discovers that all of the victims have been drugged
and tattooed. And another discovery: they are all, in some way, linked to the notorious Sorensen case from seven years ago.
Some of the victims are loved ones of people involved with the trial. Alvarado himself was present at Sorensens trialmeaning
that his daughter, Elaine (20s), could be at risk.
With help from Sorensens sister, Helga (70s), Alvarado gains information about Stefan. Helga describes
him as Sorensen's evil, distorted son. She presents an old photo of Stefan, and Alvarado notices something familiar about
the young mans face.
Alvarado puts two and two together just as the killer targets Elaine. Can he get to his daughter before
the killer does?

The Mystic
Bean Written by: Vincent Asbjornsen
Logline: A series of bizarre murders have struck
a quiet Northern California town, and it's up to Chief Patrick Alvarado to solve them. The odd thing is that the murders were
committed by the victims own hands.
Synopsis: Seven years after the trial of a
psychotic doctor, Dr. Johan Sorensen, who was experimenting on his female patients with mind altering drugs to take advantage
of them, a series of grisly murders has struck the town of Jasmine, California.
When the first victim has himself torn apart by horses while in a hypnotic
state, the Chief of Police, Patrick Alvarado, is set to find the killer. Only, since he does not understand the psychotic
mind, he enlists the help of the local psychiatrist, Dr. Lazarus Cohn.
Alvarado not only has murder to contend with. A married man with a
twenty-something daughter at home, he's at a midlife crisis point in his life and entertaining a romance with the local coffee
bar proprietress, Rachel, who owns the Mystic Bean. To add to his troubles, his daughter, Elaine, has been taken under the
wing of a local herpetologist, a woman named Martie Rickenbaucker. Now that she has a fascination with snakes, Alvarado is
concerned that she is constantly in danger.
When a woman, who dies as a result of drinking an entire can of salt,
shows up on the victim list, Alvarado and Dr. Cohn find a connection between the two in the form of a numerical tattoo with
the Zodiac symbol for Scorpio. When medical examinations of the dead are performed, it's found that they have the same mind
altering drugs in their blood as Sorensen's female patients did. As they piece together the puzzle, each victim has penned
stanzas of a disturbing poem that alludes to that person's form of death.
When other bizarre deaths occur, Alvarado learns that all the victims
were involved in the trial that lead to Sorensen's conviction. He can only surmise that the perpetrator is out for revenge,
using mind control to cause the victims to take their own lives.
Alvarado is concerned about the trial connection because he was the
arresting officer in the Sorensen case. When the vengeance finally hits Alvarado, his daughter Elaine is made to suffer through
an encounter with one of the snakes at Rickenbaucker's lab and a close encounter with a house fire.
When Alvarado figures out who the culprit is, he's both befuddled and
angry, but finds a new appreciation for his family, rejecting an affair with Rachel. The culprit is able to escape, but not
without releasing a scourge on the small town.

casted by the five bosses. The mega-millions in proceeds gives them every incentive to expand their criminal empire.
Five Iron Men is a bonechilling tale of how a midwestern criminal dynasty
operates in a world where greed, corruption, murder, and betrayal are business as usual.

REPRISAL Written by Kuir Garang -- posted
March 27 2006
Logline: When two car accident victims are
taken to Smith’s surgical unit, Smith is made to believe his girlfriend killed the victims. As they were pronounced
dead in hospital, all eyes fall on him as having killed them to protect his girlfriend. However, the series of murders and
kidnapping were to end by showing Smith that his life had been biologically a big lie just like the events that had threatened
his licence had been.
Synopsis: Smith is a successful surgeon
in Toronto’s Mount Sinai Hospital. But he doesn’t know that his presumed father (Filion) was a lady’s man
who had grudges with guys he’d rob of love of their lives. His mum’s then lover (Pierre) tried to frame Filion
out of anger, but then the set-up failed and Pierre accidentally killed Filion’s partner and framed the man’s
son as having killed his father.
Now, a then little boy (Daniel) discovered that Pierre is the killer
and threatens to blow the whistle and Pierre has to protect himself from going to jail after having left crime years before.
Daniels knew his mother loved Filion and was made to believe he was his father. Having discovered that Filion has a son who
was to inherit to get a certain amount of dollar, Daniels conditioned Pierre to get him the money or else he let the cat out
of the bag.
Pierre invents the story of Michael Brain, the son of then murdered cop
(Filion’s partner). He contracts criminal minded guys and the invented Michael is believed to have come back after two
decades and wants to kill Smith as the person who killed his father. Pierre doesn’t tell Daniels what is happening and
Daniel doesn’t bother about what was happening as long as he gets the money.
Kidnappings happens with Anna (Smith’ promiscuous girlfriend) being
kidnapped and forced to say that she caused an accident and killed a woman and her daughter. Days later a charred body that
is not recognizable is delivered as Anna’s body with DNA sample having been taken from Anna. The doctor who performed
the DNA result is made to believe that Smith is to frame him so that he’s fired or arrested. He accepts to cooperate
with the hired gangs.
As the news of Anna as having been dead comes, July, Anna sister is kidnapped.
Pierre tells his men to call the detective taking care of the car. But the detectives are the same Daniels and Nelson. Nelson
and Daniel are told by anonymous calls that Smith is behind all the problems, but the informative yet lacking in substance
to arrest Smith.
But then things start to fall apart with Brain (the one commissioned
by Pierre to carry out the mission) and Jack, his accomplice, falling off and hitting rivalry. Jack tells Daniels that the
issue Pierre said is what he was taking care of and that Pierre is delaying the issue to kill him (Daniels, who is now the
detective taking care of the case that seemingly resulted from him). Greed, mistrust set in and Daniels tried to kill Pierre
only for Pierre to end up killing the sent people.
Daniels went out of his way and killed Ezra, Pierre friend. Daniel flees
after finding the message that he is the one being sought after by the police. His wife is told that her husband is a guilty
a fugitive. When his wife picked him up after he’d kidnapped Leila (Smith’s Friend), he accidentally shot at his
wife when Leila struggled to run away. He’s taken in custody only for Pierre to kill him.
Pierre being smart as he was, he’d taken the paper containing Smith
inheritance money and left a fake copy of the paper containing the information. Brian takes the paper to Smith only for Anna
to Anna (After being freed with July) to throw it into the fire out of over excitement. Now, Smith believes he lost his fortune.
No one knew what was happening and why it was happening for the essence
of every event was making no sense however well everyone tried to understand. Then Smith got a call from Pierre in jail. He
gives Smith a letter that contains the information of what was cooking, why and what went wrong.
Smith now realizes the mystery and lie his life has been.
