In the film "Adaptation," the character Donald
Kaufman tells his twin brother Charlie, "You 're not what loves you; you're what you love." Reinvent yourself into that
idea. Become what you love. In that light, I did some collages in 2003 reinventing myself as the things
I love. This is a digital version of my favorite, The Lady of the Sea. I love seashells, with their symbolism of eternity,
protection, and infinite variety of creativity.
