Scarlet Betony (Stachys coccinea)

This low-growing herbaceous perennial flowers at least eight months of the year. The tubular red flowers attract numerous hummingbirds who will fight over the flowers. It is very drought and heat tolerant. Scarlet Betony prefers light to moderate shade but can thrive in almost any site.

Scarlet Betony is deer-resistant.
