Coral Vine (Antigonon leptopus) This native of Mexico is an old-time garden favorite. Often seen covering the porches of old farmhouses, Coral Vine (also known as Queen's Wreath or Queen's Crown) is ideal for quickly covering chain link fence, lattice work, or dull corners. Large sprays of dark pink flowers and heart shaped leaves make a striking show from Summer to Fall, The plant usually dies to the ground each Winter but quickly recovers when warm weather returns, often growing up to 30' during the growing season. This long-lived vine is cold and drought tolerant in our area. Our cultivar is from hardy heirloom vines that have been showy performers for over 80 years. Coral Vine is deer-resistant.
