Wooly Stemodia (Stemodia tomentosa) Wooly Stemodia (Stemodia tomentosa)

This fast growing groundcover is from the arid brush country of South Texas. It thrives in hot, dry sites and isn't bothered by poor soil conditions as long as it gets good drainage. Generous displays of small, bright blue/purple flowers contrast nicely against the felty, silver gray foilage. The tough little plant blooms continuously from early Spring till the first frost.

Wooly Stemodia is deer-resistant.
