Did you know that GM offered a 2.41:1 gear ratio for the rear?
Could have been worse, it could have been a 2.29! The car was originally
supposed to have a 3.08 limited slip, instead it came as a 2.41. This was
changed to a 3.42. Here are some pictures of the work done:
