Welcome to the MadCap Farm web-site. Here you will find information about riding instuction (on your horse or ours)
and other services offered including boarding and training at our facility.
MadCap is a 65 acre farm located in the Plains Virginia about and hour outside Washington DC. Acutally we are exactly
47 mile from the Capitol Building door to door and 35 minutes from the 495 Beltway around Washington. The farm is a
wonderful place. Set in the rolling hills of Virginia minutes from villages of Middleburg, The Plains, Marshall and
Warrenton which are all wonderful places for lunch or just strolling after a lesson at the farm or a day with
your horse.

interest is in beginner instruction, you have your own horse and would like to use our ring or perhaps you have bought a horse
and are having difficulties and would like a diagnostic evaluation by a professional to get you started back on track.

Our facility has two areas, the upper ring is 96' x 150' , fully fenced with lights and all weather footing
and is where instruction for beginner lessons are held . Our second front arena is a 200' x 300' grass
field that novice and intermediate lessons are primarily held and most jumping sessions.
We also have a pond, spring house and 12 acres of wooded trails for relaxtion and cool down for you and
our horse.
