Please book me as far in advance as possible to assure I can be available for your event.

For Events that are more than 5 miles outside my addy (3829 se washington, portland,or,97214), and you end up having to cancel within 2 days (48 hours) of the event, it would be really nice of you to send me a check for $10 for the inconvenience, and for possible lost facepaint jobs that I may have had to turn down.
Inside of 48 hours of the event, please send me $20.
If I get there, and you have changed your mind, or something 'came up', and you wont be needing my services after all, a payment $35 will be just fine.

I prefer cash payment, before I begin, so I don't have to interrupt you to collect when I am done

Guarantee:

I will be at your location just before I am to start. Setup time takes only minutes before I start painting. I will bring my own (clean) equipment(water, stools, paints, brushes, etc.) If it is rainy or blasting sunshine, please let me know if you can provide an area that is sheltered or shaded, or I can bring my own. I will clean up my area when I leave.

Decorum:

I Promise I will conduct myself in a Happy Friendly Professional Face Painter's Manner.

I don't drink alcohol, or smoke anything, or do drugs.

Please tell me if you do not want me to set out my own cards as self promotion. Please tell me if you do not want me to take my own photos of completed faces.

How Many Faces Per Hour?:

It just takes about 2 minutes each kid, but sometimes more if they want to talk alot, or if they cant decide, or if we have to figure out where to park their gum for a minute,,,
I can paint about 15 faces in an hour, more complex paintings will take longer, allow up to about 10 minutes each for the most complicated designs. Adding colored hairspray takes longer too.
2 Hours is about right for pretty much any small party, it gives plenty of time for everyone to enjoy the experience.

Any Design:

I have a design book and boards with drawings and photos from which folks can choose their designs from, or they may just tell me what they want. I try to keep current on the popular childrens cartoons and programs so I can do their favorite characters.

I also do 'Tats' by using dark blue/black facepaint, or

'Henna' by using brown facepaint.

I can also bring Packaged 'Tats' of premade designs, and apply them. Or I also can do Glitter 'Tatoo's' by using a hypoallergenic glue and colorful Glitter.

* * There is an additional charge for the Packaged Tats and Glitter Tattoos * * of $5.00 per hour.

Some of the artwork I can do is shown on this website. If you still question the quality of my work, I can come by or you can come to me for a demo, bring a model if you don't want your own face painted! I will show you my photo book.

Other Activities:

Face Painting could can go on all during the party, if open buffet, but if your guests are sitting down at a table at the same time, it is recommended that the face painting start after dining is done, so the designs don't get rubbed off with a napkin.

Contingency Plan:

If I come down sick, or have an emergency, and can't make it,I will let you know, and try to find and send another face painter if I can, (but I cannot guarantee their work or price) And I will give you as much notice about that as possible. If it snows or is icy I may choose to cancel, and ask that you be understanding. If you need to re-book your event due to foul weather, I will be understanding and give you top priority to be available for your new date/time.

Safety:

All paints and materials are FDA Approved For Use On The Human Face and Non Toxic. They are for the most part hypoallergenic. I use Wolfe Face Paints, my favorite. They stay where they are put, and don't smear easily. Although very rare, unusual and unexpected reactions MAY occur on supersensitive skin. Parents should be aware of their children's allergies, if you are hosting a party it is a good idea to ask the parents about any sensitivities attendees may have.

Not 'Waterproof':

The paints are watercolor, and may run if they get wet, I have a special spray made especially to keep this from happening if you plan to have water sports at your party.

The paints are washable with warm water and soap, or wet wipes, (These paints can rub off onto clothing and furniture-I am not responsible for any such damages.)
The colored hairsprays come out with shampoo and water.

One Last Note:

Face Painting is safe, creative fun for all ages, and is a wonderful way to entertain and engage the imagination! You may want to take lots of pictures for your guests! And, if you want, send them in so I can post them on my website here!
