What Was Wrong With Ellen's Page
Family tartan as background makes the page very hard to read
Button for link to photograph conveys far less information than a
thumbnail would (and when you click on it, the black and white photo
contrasts unfavorably with the color page that you just came from)
Standard font usage for book citations would be easier to read
Grouping titles by in-print and out-of-print may not be the
best approach
"Back to main index" is technical jargon;
"Back to the McKenzie home page" is more meaningful
"Made With A Mac"
distracts from the main purpose of the page (animated graphics almost always
detract more than they add)
