In the Oct/Nov 2000 issue of the BCCA's magazine Beer Cans & Brewery Collectibles Sandro Merlano describes Belgium as simply the "Beer Paradise". So far only seven flat tops and three aluminum cone tops are known to have been produced within the borders of Belgium. The four shown below I am lucky to have grace my shelves.

This first flat top from Belgium was a design

award winner.

So the next version proudly shows the

"Oscar" graphic for the design prize.

While not quite as rare as the Caulier, this can

has always been one of my favorites.

The aluminum cones of europe are scarce,

especially in reasonable condition.
