* WELLNESS CIRCLES

Mindful practices to enhance wellness.

Living primarily in the conscious mind, we remain oblivious to what is going on in the sub-conscious, all the information stored there and the wellstone of  wisdom, creativity and insight available to us.
“The body is the unconscious mind.” (1)

WHAT IS HEALTH?

Health is the ability to express freedom on all levels: emotional, mental, physical and spiritual. The highest ideal is to maintain health or to restore it as gently and as rapidly as possible.

OBJECTIVES

With proper wellness adjustments clients increase strength and vitality and sleep better so they become (and feel) more empowered, mentally and physically.  Centeredness and a well cared for, strong body increases vitality and supports a strong mind and more confident, successful action.

This work is especially potent during therapy, as it helps us to have a clearer vision of what we want. The clearer we are about what we want (not just what we don’t want) the easier it is to obtain it.  Wellness is an act of self-mastery where we take responsibility for our own well-being.

This is the "Hero’s Journey." Through transforming confusion into wisdom we experience a resurrection from the "labyrinth." As we emerge from the labyrinth we begin to recognize other possibilities for our behavior and our lives and are able to make choices consciously, reorienting energy, gathering and redirecting it for a rebirth of will, goals and direction.

After periods of stress, illness, abortion, divorce, attack.
Every event in our life causes an action and reaction and so has an impact on us. Some of these events are well integrated and, although leaving a memory, have no further influence. Some occurrences are forever modifying our life because they have not been integrated. The best known example is the “never been well since” symptoms (ailments after grief, mortification, etc.)

Traumatic events, both physical and emotional, often create a blocked “vital life force” or energy flow in a person. The blocked vital life force, conveys its stress by producing emotional and physical symptoms (the only 'language' it can use.)

Subconscious beliefs created through past wounds, though often hidden, determine how we feel about ourselves, color our experiences and shape our lives. Our beliefs (our inner map of reality) having been distorted by pain, fear and frustration, may keep us in a constant state of anxiety.

Our fears can keep us from the unity, power, freedom and self-realization that most of us long for. By bringing beliefs and fears into the conscious mind we can free up tremendous energy and heal ourself bit by bit.

From client follow-ups:

"I have been running on high octane ever since, living by the motto "If not now, when?" I am going through the transition from not working for eight months to working with a lot of steadiness and realization of my true values, as well as a higher level of awareness and feeling of harmony and control in my day-to-day life. Many thanks, and keep up the good work." A. S.

“I feel better, a kind of confidence.” L.E.

"I immediately felt a rush of energy, head to toe.  Then I went to get a massage at 1:30.  My masseuse told me during the massage that she saw a soft peachy and gold light around me and that she felt my energy shifting, that is was very strong, maybe becoming more grounded.   Then when she had her hands on my feet she said, there it is again, like a rush of energy and the peachy glow, like a rose quartz." R.N.

“I still get mad but now I talk it through." L.M.

"Last night I slept much better. I did wake up at 5 am, but went back to sleep, to my surprise, until 7 am." L. E.
