If you travel to Vicksburg, Mississippi you will encounter Margaret's Grocery. Reverend Herman Dennis and his wife,
Margaret, reside there. According to Mrs. Dennis, the two met twenty years ago and were married. Reverend Dennis promised
Margaret that he would turn her store into a palace and so he commenced decorating. What has resulted is nothing short
of a magical wonderland of faith. Margaret's Grocery is an excellent example of the African and African American tradition
of assemblage--the laying of images, text and objects.
