Miniatures I have Made (3)

Miniature Remmington Rolling Block, 1874 Gatling Gun,  & A Winchester Model 69A.

My first first hand made miniature 1970

This mini Remington rolling block was made with the aid of a drill press only.

My first Miniature.  Reduced from a gun I owned, when I started making a miniature of it.   I sold the gun,  then I continued  making the miniature from memory.  I didn't make any plans for it before hand.  So, I learned to make plans after that.

Hand made 6 3/4" Oak wheels, every part machine made, & hand finished, no cast parts.

The Plans were from RG-G, Inc.  for a 1/2 scale gatling gun.  I reduced the plans to make a 1/8 Scale gatling and remodeled some of the parts in the plans to make a field gun with a clip or stick feed instead of a drum feed. I still have a couple of things to do, to complete it.

Just like the full scale, the sight is adjustable, and the bolt cocks the fireing pin on opening
