On October 11th '08, Amita and I spend an unforgettable afternoon in the country roads outside of Dallas driving around in 5 super cars as part of a World Class Driving event that Amita got me for my birthday!!
Yes, we have really big grins going on. If you look at the next picture you'll understand why.

When you're getting ready to pilot a Gallardo Superleggera and 4 other super cars, it's hard not to smile.

I think I could get used to this.
The 1st car I drove was the Corvette Z06. 500+ American made Hp. The Pushrod way!!

After the Vette, was the Ferrari Scuderia

Me getting instruction on how to adjust the seat. The Scuderia was the only car that your passenger couldn't ride with you, as they had an instructor ride with you to make sure you didn't do anything silly (what would make then think we would do that?).

The big grin is back. And yes, I'm sporting my BMW ///M shirt. Those seats are ultra supportive.

Playing with the traction control knob. We'll leave it in RACE!! Race is actually the 2nd most inclusive setting behind the snow setting, and who is using this car in show conditions?

After the Ferrari was the Audi R8

And then the Gallardo Superleggera .

Those Carbon brakes will stop on a dime, but the bad end will get a little light when you stand on the brakes so you need to be paying attention. And the F1 style transmission was great. I'm addicted to the downshift blip.

Last of the day was the Nissan GT-R

There was also a McLaren SLR that had a vibration and that we didn't drive. But that is a curtain Catmundu behind the wheel of a Mercedes based vehicle. Oh, the horror. You'll notice she can't see over instrument cluster. You sit really low in that car as you can see as I try unsuccessfully to get out of the car.

Graceful I am not!!
