| The
Replica
Most replicas are made of metal
and plastic with 1:1 features with their real steel counterparts.
Their weights vary and come close enough to the authentic guns.
The Desert Eagle .50 AE I have is manufactured by
KWC and distributed

Features:
Blow Back -
The gun is gas powered and filled at the base of the detachable
magazine. When you fire the gun, a BB is propelled out of the
barrel and the slide moves backward. The slide will then return
forward and position another BB into the breech. Hop
Up - This feature places a spin on the BB and allows it to achieve
greater distances.

 Two
pictures above show the barrel with an orange tip. This is due
to laws that govern in the US. It is kind of weird how the rules
and regulations apply to these replicas where the federal government
is comfortable when manufacturers are required to paint the ends
orange. But if you like the realism sake of the replica you can
use standard Acetone (a.k.a. nail polish remover) to take the hideous
orange paint off. Warning:
Failure to respect local laws regarding replica firearms can get you
busted or worst off, dead. Always treat real and replica
firearms with respect.
Manual:
Ammo:
The BBs that are used are 6mm in
diameter and weigh between .20 to .43 grams. The heavier BBs are
primarily used with sniper rifles so that they can achieve higher
accuracies and distance versus the lighter BBs.
BBs are basically made of plastic,
and come in variations of biodegradable and glow in the dark variants
for tracer equipped guns. The picture shows a bag of BBs next to
paintballs for size comparison.
