1/1	Kited from Hardings with the 12m Slingshot. Barry joined in the fun; Peter tried to make the 5.8 work, but it wasn't quite enough.	Sunny, warm (enough), and the perfect New Year's Day sport. Good start to the log for 2005!
1/27	Snowboarded SunaP with Peter and Katherine.	School's out for the week, the slopes are ours!
2/5	Kited Area X with Barry and Jerry. Overpowered on the 12m Slingshot.	Sunny and warmish. Any session is a bonus between Goundhog and Presidents'.
2/24	Snowboarded Tahoe/Seirra with Jim Robertson and the Peters.	Snow was deep in the woods. Jeff was in "deep weeds" when I dragged him deep in the woods. He thinks he won't be fooled again...but he will.
2/25	Boarded Tahoe/Kirkwood with Jim Robertson, Matt Taylor, and his friend Lain.	Kirkwood rules. Too bad everyone seems to have discovered the secret.
2/26	Boarded Tahoe/Heavenly with Matt and Lain.	Good CA trip. Thanks for the hospitality Matt, Andrea Gibson and Dave Gibson or David Gibson or David Gibson of MKS Instruments or ...did the search engine find you Dave?
3/26	Kited the Cut on my new 17m Fuel with Barry & Jerry (Terry, Carrie, Larry, Harry, and Gary couldn't make it.)	The new kite looks good in the sky. The "Oneline" works fine, but none of that makes the wind blow like it should...
3/26	Kited WD with Jochem, Santi, Todd, and Jerry. Had a shower, lunch, and a nap after the Cut (so it counts as a second entry in the log).	Again the wind was a little lite, but got some rides and a few upwind walks.
3/30	Another Cut session with Peter, Jerry and Barry. The 11m Fuel emerged from the "briefcase" for the maiden voyage.	Beautiful day; decent wind; little waves around the sandbar with flat water behind it. Mike shooting stills from the "private beach". Good time.
4/2	Kited the Cut on the 11m Fuel with Holly, Jochem, Angry, Jerry, and Barry.	Choppy/nasty out in the channel. Slick, slick, slick behind North Beach. Jochem and Jim are TDing.
4/3	Another kite the Cut day. Too many kites in the air to count (on both gloved hands).	So nice. Sunny, flat water in the pond, swelly channel, groovy wavy on the outside. Best day yet.
4/7	Kited Wood Neck in Falmouth on the 11m Fuel with Tim F., Tad, and Peter T.	Gusty, choppy and super-lit for the first hour, then it settled down to just gusty. Fun anyway for the first time at Wood Neck. Good guys to kite with. (Launches and landings were all set.)
4/9	Kited Mayflower on the 17m with Angry, Santi, Peter T., Peter K. and Todd.	Sunny and warm enough to ditch the gloves for the first time this year. Replumbed the outdoor shower; enjoyed another first of the year. Ahhh.
4/14	Kited the Cut with the 11 m "mustard kite" with Barry, Jerry, Peter and some dudes from Quebec.	A little light and flukey by the time I arrived. Peter and Jerry were shlogging on their 4.7 sails, Barry on his 9 m kite. The 11 m was better, but still not lit-up. Sunny day.
4/17	Surfed the outer beach with Matt...yes, Matt Eddy lives!	Big nasty waves. Short rides followed by breath-holding-rag-doll episodes. Matt takes a hit and wrenches his shoulder, ouch.
4/17	Afternoon delight at WD with the 17m kite. Todd, Jochem, Peter, Santi, Jimmy C, Patrick and Liz were all getting it done. Bonus session.	No booties, no glovies...who needs Hatteras?
4/21	Sailed at Chapin on the Ezzy 5.2 and JP 260 with Peter K and  Mike. As the wind dropped and water drained out, switched to the 17m kite.	Morning at Chapin in a NE wind with small waves on the bar, good first classic session of '05. Then, kiting behind the bar in 2" deep crystal water...fun, fun, fun.
4/22	Kited the 17 m at WD with Jim C, Ted, Todd, and Des on the Naish 8'11"and North 6.3.	Low tide afternoon session. Des's first of the year. No gloves, no hood, no problem.
4/23	Windsurfed at WD on the JP 270 with the North 5.9. Peter K, Liz, Jennifer, and Des joined in.	Sunny and sorta' warm...first day with no booties.
4/24	Kited the cut with Jochem, Tyler, Jim and Phil. Used the 11m but should have been the 17m.	Ill-fated downwinder to Nauset Beach ended early when the wind dropped and went off-shore. Hitched a ride from turnout 2 to the lot. Jim made it...then gave us the lift back to the Cut.
4/26	Kited Area Robrah Eltil with Holly and Tim. The 17 felt lit-up in the gusts, but the hang time was inspiring.	Warm and slick; gotta' get back there again. Holly's throwin' down in the home court.
4/29	Windsurfed WD with Des, Peter K., Ken, Suzie,...Des gave me her North 5.0 on the JP 260 to take some rides. (She had been out for a few hours by the time I arrived.)	A little gusty and choppy, but who's complaining about a windy after-work session?
5/2	Kited area Robrah Etlil with the 11 m Fuel. CJ and Tim were doing the same. Holly and Geoff show-up as I'm getting off the water.	High tide makes the water less than super slick, but the wind was cranking; making for hang-time exhibitions.
5/3	Sailed the 5.2 Ezzy on the JP 270 at WD 'till the wind dropped a bit. Switched to the 11 m Fuel and played for another hour. Des, Mike, Peter, Todd and Frankie were in attendence.	This is having fun, using anything that works.
5/6	Kited Area 51 with the Sling 17. Jerry, Peter K., and the Best Boys were in on the act.	Lit-up and going downwind all evening with the current and wind directions set up just right. Peter K. is zippin' around like a veteran!
5/8	Windsurfed Area 51 with the North VooDoo 3.4 and the JP 260. Jerry, Peter, Phil and Paul gave it a go.	What was I thinkin? Wind was 15-50, temp was 40, chop was shoulder-high egg-crate. Stupid.
5/9	kited Area 51 on the 11 m Slingshot with Barry. We spend most of the time in the pond.	Sweet sesh with solid power and super-slick H20 behind the sandbar. One to remember.
5/11	Kited WD with the big kite...full on with winds at 20 mph. Phil, Todd, and the Best Boys were there.	Tossed an casual 720 that turned into a frantic 1080, but all's well that ends board first with the kite in the air...
5/12	Back to The Area for a quick sesh with Barry. I was using the 11m, he was on his 9m.	Sunny and slick. Wind was dropping from about 25 at the start to <15 while we walked back from the pond.
5/13	Friday the 13th session at WD. Des and I shared the North 5.0 and Ezzy 5.2.	Nice swell setting up out by the rocks.
5/14	Another WD day with Des on the North 6.3 and Naish 8'11" and me flying the 17 m kite.	Very marginal wind, but a nice warm day with plenty of friends...
5/20	Sailed Forest with Des. Me on the North 6.3 Naish and Des with the North 5.9 and JP 270.	Just the two of us, until the mast popped through the top of my sail...and then there was one. Oh well...
5/28	Des tried to sail Forest on her 5.9 North and JP 270...wind died.	Looked good for a while...til Des got on the water...
5/29	Des and I surfed Whitecrest with Tom and Jenn. We were cruising on the Brewer and Hotline boards.	Easy-going waist-high peeling waves. Took some of them 30 yards into the beach. Fun time; nice nap in the sun afterward!
5/30	Des surfed Whitecrest with Jenn, Tom, and Liz.  It was Liz's first day surfing and wow! was she hangin' ten on the Bic and Hotline!	Easy-going waist-high peeling waves. Took some of them 30 yards into the beach. Fun time had by all.  Liz did a double sesh, running off to WD to catch some wind....You Rock Girl!
6/3	Late afternoon surf sesh at Whitecrest with Luke, Des and Jenn.  Hangin' Ten on the Brewer and Hotline again.	Same style waves as the last 2 sessions.  NICE!  Poor Tom missed it cuz he was in sunny Seattle:)
6/4	Another beautiful, windless day at WhiteCrest...Des and Jenn on the longboards.	Des, Jenn, Cathleen and Matt on the same style waves as the rest of the week...nice, peeling waves....all rights.  Matt and Des really prefer lefts, but hey, this was great practice.
6/5	Surfed the Outerbeach today.  Luke, Des, Mattoo, and Barry on longboards.	Another beautiful day at the beach.  Waves were waist to head high and very fast and powerful.  Des could've used her 7'6" Stewart....
6/7	Windsurfed WD; Luke, Des, Jer, Peter, and the usual WD crowd.  5.8 and 5.9 North Sails with JP270 and Naish 8'11".	Well, a very unsettled day.  Wind did not materialize as expected and fog was a nuisance, to say the least.  Wind did not hold up well for the afterwork sesh.  Maria "almost" made it on the water today....soon we hope:)

6/10	Sailed WD in the afternoon.  Des on 5.9 North Disco with JP 270 sailing with Martha, Liz and the WD crowd.  Luke shows up and sails the 5.8 North Volcano with Naish 8'11".	Martha & Des had a terrific time sailing together.  Liz is nailing those waterstarts.  And those new WD tees look terrific!  The green woman's shirt rocks.  Nice job George and the DWA!
6/11	Kited/Sailed FB.  Luke on his 17m Slingshot; Des on her 5.9 North Disco and 90 liter JP.	Good times.

6/17	Wahine Sesh!  Des, Jenn, and Liz longboard at Whitecrest.	Waves were a bit rough.  Gotta stay outta the combat zone.  It was fun dodging those odd reflection waves on the sandbar.    Beautiful day!!  Nice to be in the ocean....

6/25	Another nice day!  Sailed FB with Jenn, Cathleen, Matt, Jerry, Bernie, etc.  Des on the 5.9 North Disco and Naish 8'11; then the 5.2 Ezzy and JP 260.  Luke on his 17 Slingshot kite; then 5.9 North Disco and Naish 8'11".	Wind died several times today and was best in the morning, then after 5 pm.

6/30	Kited FB to Hardings with Migel. Lit up perfectly on the 11m Fuel.	Casual downwinder, playing in the swell on the way to the flats. The flats rule. Migel is TD unhooked.
7/2	Surf Sesh on the Outerbeach with Des, Jenn, and Tom.	Nice waves!  Jenn snapping pics of us surfing....
7/3	Surf sesh at the Outerbeach with Des, Maria, Barry, Mattoo.  Longboards only.	Decent waves.  Great Barbeque.  Thanks for the food Maria!  And, Maria did a double sesh today...windsurf then surf!  Go Girl.
7/4	Surfing sesh on Outerbeach!  Longboarded with Des, Jenn, Tom, and Maria.	Maria's standing up and learning how to drop.  Jenn's getting braver and venturing out further.  Tom is now catching some nice waves!  Barbeque with the Bessettes after...then Chocolate Sparrow for dessert!  Thanks for the grub again Maria!
7/5	FB session with Des sailing the 5.9 North on the Naish 8'11'' and Luke holding down the 17 m Slingy. Matt 5, Barry, Jerry, and Geoff were ripping the fluid too.	Cloudy, misty, foggy, but solid wind building strength 'till dark.  Matt5 buys a Cape Cod Wahine hat for his sis...thanks Matt!  Great sailing with ex-Cape Codders Terry and Rebecca....Matt's bro and sis.
7/7	Double sesh for Luke.  Kited 11 Slingshot at Chapin in the morning; then met Des for an afterwork sailing sesh at Mayflower.  Des on 5.8 North Volcano and JP 270.  Luke on 6.3 North Volcano and Naish 8'11"	Holly, D. Lent and others on kites; Pam B., Scott Slater, and others on sails at Chapin. The sequel session found Jimmy C. and his business partner Jim kiting. Jimmy C. on the 11m. Jim trying out the auto-deflate mechanism on the 15m...works great!
7/8	Luke kited with the 11m between the raindrops at South Village Beach in Dennis. Joined by D. Lent and Peter K.	Due East wind. Very flukey direction. It absolutely shut down at about 4:00 that day. Thanks Peter for catching my kite as it fell from the sky!
7/9	Sailed FB totally wound.  Des on 4.7 Ezzy SE and 8'3" W&S.  Luke on 5.2 Ezzy SE and JP 260.  Sailed with Jenn, Tom, Martha, Bill, Janice, Jerry, Cathleen, Matt2, Matt G, Matt5.	Classic afternoon WSW at FB. Clouds were blown away and the sun drove the wind even more.
7/10	Surfed the Outerbeach with the Cape Cod Wahines!  Des, Jenn, Maria, Fra, Sandie and mascots/board caddies Luke, Tom, Mattoo, and Matt5.	First Wahine Surfing outing of the year!  Thanks Jenn and Fra for shuttling people out there!  Nice Barbeque next time.
7/11	Surfed the outer beach between turnouts 5 & 6. Des on the Brewer, Luke on the big Bic.	Beautiful, warm, sunny morning with knee-high surf. We're both riding goofy...normal for Des, awkward for Luke.
7/14	Kited FB on the 17m with Peter and Holly. Matt5 on his 7.2 and PT classic. Then joined by Barry and Jerry. B, J, H, and I all did the downwinder to Area 51 aka "seal-land".	Awsome sessions. Thanks for the shuttle sevice Jane B. Thanks for the pics Brian. Thanks to the owner of the green boat for providing the jump target for Jerry. 17 meter kites rule. 13 is such an unlucky #.
7/17	Kited the outer beach at the point between 3 & 4 on the 17 m Slingy. Jerry and Matt W. launched there too. Barry and Holly blew into town from the South.	Nice little waves breaking on the sandbar with sideshore wind. Up&Down wind with more on the inside. Cookout afterward with Mattoo, Gretchen, Janice, Jane, Kyle, and Tori joining in. Josie, Moondog, and 'Kipa were hangin' out too.
7/19	Surfed the outer beach at turnout 5. Des on the Brewer; Luke on the Hotline.	Not bad...80 degree air temp, sunny, waist-high fun-waves. About those greenheads...Des says, "What purpose do they serve?" I say, "Well...they're one of the few wild species that actually appreciates human-kind." Hmmm.
7/20	Surfed the outer beach past turnout five with Matt Eddy. Des on the Brewer, Luke on the Hotline.	Nice waist-high sets in warm water. Beautiful sunset session.
7/21	Another outer beach surf excursion; Des on the Brewer, Luke captains the Bic 10' Noserider. The Bessets join us, but only Kyle gets wet. Bill G. gets a few rides.	Another waist-high sunset session. The water is getting so warm, the wetsuit feels unnecessary...but it does keep the greenheads 2mm away from the skin.
7/22	Repeat of yesterday....	repeat of yesterday....
7/24	Luke kites with Jerry at the southern tip of South Beach. Des reads Kiterunner while lounging in the Larson.	Kited in a NW wind with a SE tide current, then everything stops. Then everything switches and we kite in a SE wind with a NW tide current. Each time, the current gives us enough apparent wind to make it happen; wind 10 mph, current 3 mph. Thanks for the ride out there Jerry!
7/25	Windsurfed at FB in the afternoon.  Des on the 4.2 and 8' glass W&S.  Luke alternating between the 4.7 and 4.2; JP 260, 8'3" and 8' W&S.	Big group there for a Monday session. Jerry and Peter do an excursion to Monomoy and South Beach. Crazy stunts and all-out antics. Luke throws his first back 360.
8/8	Morning surf session on the outer beach after our trip to the Midwest. Des on the Brewer, Luke on the Hotline.	Waist-high sets with good rides. Warm water.
8/8	Evening/sunset surf on the outer beach with Eric and Jerry. Jerry on the 10' Lebowsky, Eric on the 10' Bic and Luke on the Brewer.	Jerry turns 39. What a way to spend your golden years...
8/9	In the morning, Outer Beach at turnout 2. Des surfing on the Stewart and Luke on the Hotline.	The water is so warm now...makes you want to go to Oregon to find the cold stuff.
8/9	Afternoon session at FB. Luke flying the 17m Slingshot, Des on the 6.3 North and 8'11" Naish.	Marginal wind, but fun in the gusts.
8/10	Kited FB on the 17m with Holly and Geoff. Brian is learning to fly...	Barely enough power at times, lit-up at other times. Caught the 45 min window of the best wind.
8/12	Luke surfed the outer beach at turnout 2. Holly and Nalu joined-in. Holly surfed...Nalu check-out the other dogs.	Nalu takes his first swimming lesson...not by choice.
8/13	Luke does Dawn Patrol with Barry and Harbormaster Tom at turnout 2.	Glassy, chest-high waves with long rights. But it's getting windy in the Sound so Luke has to leave to get home by 8:00 am. (See below)
8/13	Hook-up the trailer and head to FB at 9:30 am to continue the all day water-a-thon. Luke flies the 11m Slingshot then takes the Classic gear out for awhile; Des sails the 5.9 North on the JP 270, then tries-out Janice's 5.8 Diva. The ususal gang is there.	It's an all-day event. We arrive home and collapse. Ahhhh....
8/14	Des gets an am surf session at turnout 2 on the Stewart 7'6".	Waist to chest-high and not too crowded...for awhile.
8/14	Luke gets a late-day kiting session at FB on the 17m.	Geoff, Brian, and others are there too. Des is on-hand for moral support.
8/15	Late morning/early afternoon kite session at "Area 51" with "Kiter X".	Slick. Boostin' huge with an audience to "ooo" and "Ahhh" during every trick. Should have sold tickets...
8/15	Afternoon/evening at Chapin. Des rode the 8'11" Naish and 6.3 North. Luke flew the 17m Slingshot. Scott S., Phil M., Jimmy C., Holly, Todd, and others were on it.	Nice little waves on the bar. Machine-gun short chop inside. Not bad for NE wind in August.
8/17	Surfed the outer beach at turnout 2. Des rode the Stewart, Luke was on the Hotline.	Spectacular sunset session with glassy shoulder-high sets. Pastel sky reflecting from the rippled-mirror water inspired transcendental moments...interrupted by the school of bluefish in a feeding frenzy. Ahh! All body parts up on the board!
8/20	Des' Birthday!!!  Nice birthday at the outerbeach!  Des on 9'6" Hotline; Luke on 9'4" Dick Brewer.   Kay, Scott, kiddos, Liz, Jennifra, and John all out surfin' it up!	Chest to head high waves breaking really nicely!!  Great Birthday Present for Des!!!!!!!   Thanks Wahines for celebrating this day with us!
8/21	Windsurfed at FB.  Des on 5.9 and Luke on the 6.3.	Very onshore wind, but once you get upwind, the little swell rides were tastey!

8/31	FB went off today!  Des on 4.7 and glass 8'3" Wind & Surf; Luke on 5.2 and JP 260.	Windsurfed around low tide.  Waves were SWEET!  Waist to head high.  Sailed with Cathleen, Matt5, Peter and Paul.  Des had trouble missing jibes!
9/2	DOUBLE SESH DAY!!!  We both surfed Turnout 2 at dawnpatrol.  Then, Des joined fellow CC Wahines for another surf sesh at the Outerbeach.  Luke kited at Hardings Beach.	SWEET clean shoulder high waves...both on longboards in the early morning!  Then in the afternoon, Des on her 7'6" Stewart at the CCW gathering with Kay and Trish (and our mascot Jeff).  Luke on his 17m Slingshot at Hardings in the afternoon with Barry and Jerry...
9/3	DOUBLE SESH again today for both Luke and Des.  All surfing this time!  Dawn patrol on longboards and sunset sesh with Des on the 7'6" Stewart and Luke on the 9'4" Dick Brewer.  Nice.........	Nice waist to head high sets...a little choppy in the morning but fairly clean for sunset!
9/4	Dawn Patrol at the Outerbeach again!  Both on longboards.	Nice waist to head high waves.  Nice barbeque with the gang in the evening...

9/8	Kited with the 17 m from Forest to tip of Southbeach, then crossed to the Atlantic and downwind to Area 51. Peter T., Barry, and Jerry were in on the action.	The best waves were setting up about 1/2 mi south of the light house. Shoulder to head high and pretty clean since the wind was side-off there. Thanks for the ride back to Forest Jerry!
9/8	Surfed outerbeach with Liz!  Both on longboards.	SWEET overhead to overhead and a half high clean waves!!!!

9/14	Kited Area 51 (17 m Slingy) with Jerry and Barry.	Maiden voyage for the "Area 51, Model 122 ISS" Goes upwind like it's got claws, rides smooth in the chop, rotates to toe-side and back with just a flick. Can it jump? Oh yea. Can it land? I don't know...couldn't bare to smack it...kept landing butt first with board in the air...
9/17	Windsurfed Chapin.  Des on 5.0 and glass board; Luke on the Area 51 and 11 Slingshot; Jerry on 13 Slingshot.	Speed runs on the inside, headhigh swell on the outside. Reached up to Mayflower and Bayview to play with 25 or so others in the break. The new Area 51 board gets a real test...no holds barred!
9/20	Windsurfed WD. Des was on the 5.0 North, 8'3" W&S; Luke on the 5.2 Ezzy and JP 260.	Spent the late afternoon into evening out by the rock pile playing in the wavelets. Earlier in the afternoon, Des helps rescue Dave after he rips a ligament in his knee while past the rocks.
9/22	Windsurfed FB with Des and Matt 5. Sailed 5.9 and 6.3 into the sunset.	Sailed from Summer to Fall, as the season changed at 6:00...
9/24	Early start session at Bayview. Des rides the 8'3" powered by the 5.2 Ezzy. Luke video's then rigs the 11m, then the 17m for a short session. Everyone's there. Looks like Kanaha.	It really feels like fall now. Cool NE breeze, sunny with low humidity. Des heads over to the CC Wahine clinic at WD in the afternoon.
9/24	Luke and Jerry dash to Area 51 for an afternoon kiting session.	Geoff is getting married at the Tennis Club. As we are landing kites, he and his new bride are getting pics taken on the beach. We're all wearing suits...some are wetter than others....
9/25	Des sails the North 6.3 and the Naish 8'11" at WD with the Wahines. Luke opts to avoid getting in touch with his feminine side and kites Area 51 with the boys.	Both sessions were good as the wind comes up in the late afternoon.
9/26	Des plays hookie and sails WD on the North 5.0 and JP 260. Best Monday ever for the EPA girl!	Big southwest day. Jenn, Kay, Maria, Annie, Judy, and Robin were among the women carrying-over the CCW weekend.
9/29	Nice 4.0 sailing on the 8' glass board at WD.	Big day, but the sun stayed out and nice waves by the island and by the lighthouse inn!!
9/30	Des surfed Newcomb's with Pinky, Cathleen, Trish, Matt and Jeff.	Nice waist high with some chest high sets.  Fairly clean waves, but the mung's gotta go!!!!!  Very thick mung....

10/2	Surfed Newcombs.  Luke, Des, Scott, and Kay!	Fun afternoon with sweet waves!  Kay's starting to drop in!!!
10/4	Late afternoon surf sesh at Newcombs...Des and Pinky.  Mark, his daughter and Andy show up later.	Beautiful, long, clean rights!  Waist high and very sweet.  Foggy and eerie, but totally worth it!  Killed it on our longboards!
10/5	Luke and Des surfed Newcombs late afternoon.	Foggy, but nice, clean waves.  Fisherman were kind of annoying tho...why do they always fish where the surfing is good!  Hit a few of their lines on the rides in.  Fog lifts off and on.
10/8	Des sailed WD all day on a 4.7 and glass board.  The gang was all there....	Bonus Day at WD!  No rain and cranking wind.  Had a blast sailing the SSW winds all day.  Waves near lighthouse were nice!  Liz was on her 4.2 and Berky 295...lookin' good girl!   And Sandie finally joined us for some sailin'.  Drew got out on her new Mistral Vision and 5.0...go Drew!  Great Day!!!
10/9	Forest Beach Rocked early....then turned abruptly north! Des checked out Mayflower and Bayview.  Luke was sick:(	Crappy on-shore wind....no down-the-line wave riding....not worth bothering getting wet....ughhhhhhhhhhh   kiter flyers all crammed close to shore.  Jerry complaining "too many people on my slick!"
10/11	Des and Suzie sailed Mayflower in the afternoon.  Luke joined them and kited after school.	Nice sailing!  NE wind at Mayflower and much stronger than predicted.  No rain and lots of sailing and kiting in the afternoon.  Sure would be nice to have a windmeter on the north side with full exposure for those NE winds...maybe Jerry can figure something out for us???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  How bout a meter on a bouy about 100 yards off shore?
10/12	Des sailed Bayview with Suzie, Matt5, Cathleen, Matt Gage, Pete, Jer, and Luke.  All on 4.0s and tiny boards....	What a nuclear day!!!  No rain and gusty ENE wind.  Fun, but out of control at times!  Des finally gets blown off the water around 5ish.  Luke follows suit.  Then, off for a really great dinner at the Bramble Inn in Brewster.  AWESOME way to end a great day.
10/13	Des sailed Bayview from 0730 til 1400 with Suzie, Matt5, Cathleen, Scott and some other folks.  4.7 Ezzy and 8'3" glass board.  Luke sailed the Cut with the boyz...Jer, Pete, and Mike after "work".	BEAUTIFUL Day!!!!  Sun peeked out quite a few times, no rain, and nice ENE wind.  A tad gusty, but who's complainin'?  Des is on vacation and what a terrific week to have off!          Kite flyers show up when Des is leavin' and try to get out.  Wayyyyy too gusty for kites, but who listens to Des anyway??
10/14	Des sails Bayview...Luke kites Area 51 on the 11 m Fuel and Icon with Phil, Barry and Jerry.	Head-high waves outside, slick inside. Big air jumping the sandbar. Kited 'till dark. Schweeet!
10/16	Windsurfed Hardings with the whole crew. Des on the 3.4 Voodoo, Luke on the 4.0 Zeta, both Wind&Surf boards.	Crazy, sunny, blown-out session. Fun stuff.
10/17	Des sails Chapin with Suzie, Cathleen, Martha, Bill and John.	Eeeek...water is getting a tad chilly in the ole wetsuit...
10/18	Desiree "Use or Lose Time-off" Moyer sails Forest on the JP 260 with the Ezzy 5.2 and Cathleen, Robin, Simon, Brian, and Matt5.	Wind shuts down by the time the working folk show up.
10/19	Luke kites with Tim, Holly, Geoff, and Little Tim at Little Harbor. Rode the reinforced Area 51 Board powered by the 11 m Fuel.	Gusts went over 30, but what's the point if you're not lit? Great afterwork session!
10/23	Both of us sail Corp on 4.0 and 4.2 with most of the gang....Suzie, Matt5, John, Jerry, Pete, Mike, big truck Paul, Phil, Barry and Paul Flaherty.   Cathleen opts for Hardings in the morning and has a blast.	"Corp doesn't get any better than this" everyone kept sayin'.  Beautiful waves, 10 foot swell, and temps way up into the 40s!!!  What diehards!  Phil, hang onto that kite man!
11/5	Back from our Boston trip and we hit the water at Nauset Light Beach to do some surfin' with the gang!  Surfed with Cathleen, Barb, and Tim.	Nice, warm fall day.  Des tried out her new Exel 5/4/3 hooded surfin' suit and 7 mm booties.  Toasty warm.  Had to take the hood down cause it was actually too warm!  Also did a little fishin' with the nice rod and reel we found....

11/8	Luke kites at Chappy with Holly, Tim F., and Tad. The 17m Fuel and the Area 51 122 were the call...for a while.	I had a few good rides, but missed the best of it. I hate Standard Time. I really hate it.
11/12	We both surfed the outer beach on the Brewer and Hotline.  Surfed with Tom and Scott.  Barry and Tori watching.	Decent knew to waist high waves.  Not terrific, but rideable and fun.  Des is sweating in her new Xcel 5/4/3 and 7mil booties in 41 degree weather???!!
11/13	Des windsurfed and Luke kited FB with Cathleen and Brian.  Des on the 6.3 and Naish and Luke on the 17m Slingshot and Area 51 board:)	Most of the kiteflyers ditched us and went to the Cut instead.  We stuck the course and had a fun at FB.  Cathleen and Brian, you two are riding great out there!  Nice to hang with ya Annie....sorry the rest of the gang did not show...:(
11/20	Jeff Spillane and Des classic'd at Hardings surrounded by the kiteflyers.  Des on the 6.3 and JP 270.  Luke on his 11 Slingshot Fuel did an excursion to Monomoy, then back to Hardings.  The gang, Brian, BB, Cathleen, Holly, Jer, Pete and the KiteSite Crew all in attendance.	Beautiful Day!!  Warm and NO gloves.  Is it really Thanksgiving week???   Looks to get frigid later this week...we'll see.  Maybe some surfin' instead!
11/21	Des had a solo sesh at turnout one at the outerbeach on the 10' Bic Noserider.	Nice solo sesh today!  Had the waves all to myself for 2 hours...then a shortboarder came out to rip it up.  Beautiful blue sky and fairly clean waist to chest high waves.  Sorry I missed you at NLB Barb!  Thanks for the girl chat on the drive out Liz....you ROCK.
11/26	Surfed the outer beach with Barry, Tom, and Tommy...Jackie looking on.  Luke on the 10' Bic Noserider; Des on the 9'6" Hotline.	We drove to the outerbeach, looked, and almost did not go!!  Harbormaster Tom got there and psyched us up to go out.  Glad we did cuz the waves cleaned up nicely as the sesh progressed.  Thanks Tom!!
11/27	Surfed the outer beach again today with Tom and Tommy Leach.  Luke on the 9'6" Hotline and Des on the 9'4" Brewer.	Nice waist to shoulder high waves today.  Bigger than yesterday and a tad warmer.  Surfed for 2.5 hours!  Des had some really nice lefts, slicing sideways thru the wave.  Some big barrel drops! !  Luke had some great rides too.  And, we both got washed a few times in the 46 degree water.  Haven't been washed like that in a long time....Nice sesh!!
12/11	Surfed Newcom Hollow with Scott S. and Jeff S. Des rode the Hotline, Luke the Bic Noserider.	Air and water were each about 40 degrees, but the bright sun made it feel like July. We had some nice long rides on waist to chest-high glassy reminders of the storm on Friday night. This day makes Luke's  goal of being on the water at least once every month of 2005. Ahh...that feeling of achievement.
12/29	Kited Area 51 on the new board (Area 51, Model 4J 122)and 11m Fuel with Brian, Barry and Jerry.	Temperature in the 40's with the passing squall from time to time made for some unpredictable wind gusts. Overall, it was an awesome session for so late in the year. The new Area 51 board rocks!
