use English grammar or spell well send you hate notes! A nasty email came
to me, from a CRAIGS LIST AD READER.
MARIEKE SAID: I would love to adapt (sic)
a baby from Indonesia or any of the other strickin(sic) countries, but
would NEVER do
it through your group. You are promoting to put them (sic)
in loving families. But the love in your post is seriously lacking! There
is a serious concern that the 'Baby adapting' Scheme is part of a Christian
ploy to adapt Muslim babies and convert them! Posts like yours only confirm
this concern!
I responded, "Marieke, all we do is public
relations. It is a battle. Soldiers are required to carry it off.
NOT lily livered, polite, socially correct wimps. Besides, what did I say
bad about them? THEY DID IT. I only reported it!!!
I happened to note that Tsunami babies are
Orphans now and they need homes, and as I pointed out, MUSLIM MEN will
not touch another man’s child so I thought I could use Craig’s list to
find soldiers to do Volunteer Public Relations on the issue of the MUSLIMS
refusing a gifted orphanage and of course adoptions to the west.
You tell me I am heartless, and you wouldn't
take a baby from someone as mean spirited as me?? That my writing is prejudiced,
HARD not soft? Well, ok, hey, I’m no NUN rocking a cradle. I don't arrange
for adoptions. I do not handle babies. I don't raise money. I RAISE MY

ONE MONTH TO THE DAY LATER there is not one child adopted? WELL, there
was ONE! A BABY hippopotamus, swept into the Indian Ocean by the tsunami,
is finally coming out of his shell thanks to the love of a 120-year-old
tortoise. Owen, a 300kg, one-year-old hippo, was swept down the Sabaki
River, into the ocean and then back to shore when the giant waves struck
the Kenyan coast. The dehydrated hippo was found by wildlife rangers and
taken to the Haller Park animal facility in the port city of Mombasa.
Pining for his lost mother, Owen quickly befriended a giant male Aldabran
tortoise named Mzee - Swahili for "old man".
"When we released Owen into the enclosure,
he lumbered to the tortoise which has a dark gray color similar to grown
up hippos," Sabine Baer, rehabilitation and ecosystems manager at the park,
told ReutersonThursday. Haller Park ecologist Paula Kahumbu said the pair
were now inseparable. After it was swept and lost its mother, the hippo
was traumatized. It had to look for something to be a surrogate mother.
Fortunately, it landed on the tortoise and established a strong bond. They
swim, eat and sleep together," the ecologist added. "The hippo follows
the tortoise exactly the way it follows its mother. If somebody approaches
the tortoise, the hippo becomes aggressive, as if protecting its biological
mother," Kahumbu added. "The hippo was left at a very tender age. Hippos
are social animals that like to stay with their mothers for four years."
She said the hippo's chances of survival in another herd were very slim,
predicting that a dominant male would have killed him without a mother's
care. Officials are hopeful Owen will befriend a female hippo called Cleo,
also a resident at the park. “ As OWEN has already shown an ability to
move beyond racial profiling and love another species with all his heart,
there sure is hope for OWEN!

SO I found this sweet piece of news and

KNOW that I CARE. CARING SO MUCH is why I battle to make their PLIGHT heard.
Maybe you assumed I was a tuffie or read
incarefully like you ASSUMED that I was offering babies or even FINDING
babies. I have four children, am nearly 70 yrs of age. I have seen MUSLIM
countries come and go. THIS ONE killed one million of its own people, these
very generals who lead the country now genocided an entire state or province
of theirs. FOR 20 yrs since that murder, AMERICA would not give them any
arms as they KNEW these MUSLIM GENERALS would use them on their own peasants.

HELP
the babies survive even take them into our families? IF we hate them
