Visionary Art Exhibit-Superlove at the Superdome
April, 2008

We headed to the Gulf South in April to participate in "V TO THE TENTH" at the New Orleans Arena and Louisiana Superdome. Playwright, Eve Ensler and The awesome VDay Organization brought thousands of women and men to the city to celebrate V-Day"s ten years of ending violence against women and girls, and to honor the women of New Orleans and the Gulf South.

Jenny and I joined 30,000 women and men coming together to heal and build better lives for women and girls in New Orleans and around the world. I have been overwhelmed by the experience of Love and passionate creative expression in this fabulously talented, beautiful city. We gave away 10 LoveChild Shirts, 15 "Peace Safety Power" Shirts, 250 prints and 400 postcards of Justice's artwork. We made friends and connections that have dramatically strengthened our ability to connect globally and continue building on the Love and Joy and Gratitude that we grow in the valley of Nelson County, Virginia.

New Orleans is a testimony to the strength of women and men that have drawn on their spirit, will and courage to create anew a true vision of how life can be. The people are still struggling. Many buildings are still empty. The hearts are golden and singing the words that praise the preciousness of life.
It was Nelson County's own production of The Vagina Monologues at The Hamner Theater in 2007 that Jenny and Justice first worked together. The infusion of art and action on a local and global scale is the bedrock philosophy of LoveChild Productions.
We are grateful to have the opportunity to support the well being of all people and to honor the courage of those who face severe challenges societally, politically or personally.

"Being Light" Painting Exhibit
Dec. '07 through Feb "08

"Being Light", an exhibit of paintings by Justice, was in the Glass Building, off of The Downtown Mall in Charlottesville, Virginia. There were 23 new paintings of planets and galaxies hanging in the beautiful day spa, 3 Esthetics and Hair Care (see invitation below). 3 is a beautiful spa filled with light and trees and very talented artisans of the body. It was a pleasure to exhibit here and I encourage you to take advantage of their services. Beauty abounds!

Thank You!!!!
The generous people of Nelson County purchased more than $1800 in beads and jewelry in support of the Bead for Life project, brought to our area by Jenny and her mom, Elizabeth Hopkins.

We have sent all of the money back to Africa, paying the talented women of Uganda for their fine craft and supporting them in continuing to build a healthy village for their families.

Whole New Worlds Exhibit, Sept. 07

Justice discussing the Cosmic

The exhibit, "Whole New Worlds", is my inaugural show in Virginia. I created the event to be an exhibit/dance party because I have found that movement creates life. Movement, rhythm, tone, light, color can create and transform energy.
I want folks to see this artwork as alive, unfolding as all life is unfolding. I also believe that our ability to navigate through the challenges that face us as a community are strengthened by coming together as neighbors in celebration of love and joy and appreciation for beauty.

The Rockfish Community Center now houses more than seven artists studios, The Hamner Theater, http://www.hamnertheater.com, many dance, movement and yoga classes and great workshops. Recently the board of directors has dedicated the main conference room to be developed as ongoing art exhibit space. "Whole New Worlds" is a one evening event, September 29 from 7:30-11pm. The artwork will be available for viewing by chance or appointment through mid October.
