LoveChild Lives Well in Nelson County

Basic Necessities, Nellysford, Virginia
If I had invented Paradise it would be tucked in the valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia; sweeping hills that can thrill you like the country drive of childhood. There would be a fairy tale cottage that held not gumdrops, but fine wines from the South of France, imported cheeses and organic chocolates. I personally could live my life in bliss in the front room of Basic Necessities. Reserve a table in the sun (or star) filled dining room and enjoy world class cuisine masterfully prepared with local, organic produce and the friendliest staff ever invented.
 
Maybe there is a magic spell on Basics. Folks have been known to travel miles just for the coffee. I'm not naming names, but if Modigliani and Picasso lived in Nelson County, they'd be duking it out at Basics.
