LCI(G) SOUTHWEST PACIFIC
The LCI(G)’s were the outgrowth of a need for support craft for beach invasions. Off shore ships couldn’t supply enough support and the solution was to arm landing craft to provide close-in fire support. The kit is based on drawings of these craft, with many details taken from photographs.
The LCI(G) SOUTHWEST PACIFIC kit consists of a resin hull and parts & instructions.
The kit is cast in a soft styrene-like gray. One piece molds were used to make the castings. The kit assembles like an injection molded kit.
