Shady Oak Farm may be new to Morgans, but our foundation stock has been chosen from the Oldest,
most authentic blood within the breed.
We believe in the integrity of those that have bred Genuine Morgans before
us, and our goal is to keep their dreams alive and produce the highest quality Morgans.

I became interested in Old Fashion Morgans
after buying my first mare. Her name is Longstreet Allegra (Allie) and I purchased her from Ina Ish. After having
Allie here with me, for a very short time, I decided I needed to have more of these outatanding horses and keep
the "Classic" blood lines alive. So a breeding program is what I needed.
I contacted Ina and we began a
search for more of these extraordinary horses. Fortunately we were able to find more of the second generation to her
original breeding stock.
I feel very blessed to have developed
a friendship with Ina, a Morgan mentor that has willingly given me the knowledge necessary to be a success in the field
of Morgan horse breeding.
In breeding the second generation,
we have decided that the "Longstreet" prefix will be used on future foals that meet the highest standards.
