Welcome graphic

Hello from the middle of the Iraqi desert!  Thanks for taking a minute to stop and check out my pictures of the day.  In an attempt to keep my family and friends informed and to give them a sense of life in Iraq, I began sending them a picture of the day with a thorough description of the photo and what occurs here on a daily basis. Longbow Log 1 and Longbow Log 2 contain all my pictures up to last week.

As for a little bit of information on me, I am a captain in the United States Army.  When our unit first deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, I was the company commander for C Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Aviation Regiment.  Now I am the Battalion’s Intelligence Officer.  I also dabble in the operations side of the house as well.  We are constantly busy trying to bring stability to a nation that desperately needs the world’s support to help them recover from decades of atrocities and oppression.  I am proud to be serving in this Army as we rebuild a nation.
