Hi to everyone in the Albers family---We were so happy to hear that Lon is finally awake and on his way to recovery. We have been praying for him and his family to have the strength to make it through this very tough time. We miss you guys at the walk-thrus, but I’m sure you’re having a much better time in Montana! I will check back on this website periodically to catch the updates!

Kevin passed this news on to me and I was very concerned to say the least. Even though the miles and time have distanced us, The Albers family are very dear and important to me/us. We all grew up together and those memories are very dear to me. I have been praying for everyone involved that this healing process is speedy and Lon is back to Lon in no time. Not to mention, for strength and peace to everyone else, and Melinda in this process.

If I can do ANYTHING, please let me know. I will continue to pray and encourage those that know and even those that don’t know Lon to hold him up in prayer.

Being that I was the inpatient rehab nurse for traumatic brain injuries in Good Sam. I know one thing from that experience, God is far stronger then medicine. You can call me anytime. Melinda, We are praying for you continuously. Our church is praying, and everyone that I know that knows you is praying as well. God is good and doing great things! You are such a testimony with your strength and trust in God. We will continue to pray for healing for Lon, strength, peace and rest for you, and understanding for the kids. We are praying for Dolly and Marv, too. Walk with God -- "My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me." Psalm 101:6. The devotional talks about walking with God as Noah, David, and Daniel did. I believe you are!!!! It goes on to say that, God didn't promise to deliver us from trouble, but He has promised to go with us through the trouble. "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me." Psalm 23:4. Hang in there and know that you are loved and prayed for, and God is with you!
