Lon is in a "mixed" coma. Melinda explains this by stating that he is sedated, but even without sedation he would
not be fully coherent or cognitive.
They changed his sedation medication today to a milder one due to his heart rate being elevated and his blood pressure lowered
since yesterday. He gets a bit agitated with the lower sedation, but Melinda and his nurse saw him open his eyes a little
today, which was a blessing for Melinda to be watching him that exact moment! The recent MRI shows that the nerve tear is
a bit more than they thought at first from the CT scan, but not severe enough for surgery at this time. (Pray for Lon's nerves
to be healed.) The kids came to visit Daddy for the first time since his accident. Sierra visited him last night and all of
them visited today. They each did amazing. They loved on him, talked to him and each wanted their picture taken with him.
{God is so good. This was an answer to many prayers.}

Lon was riding a horse and the horse became agitated, reared it's head back and hit Lon in the nose, breaking it and causing
him to black out. He fell from the horse and fractured his skull at the base and the left occipital temporal. He has a closed
head injury, an inner cranial hemorrhage and some nerve tearing. He was rushed by ambulance to the hospital in Helena and
then flown to the hospital in Great Falls MT.
