- Meet VTA’s 1001 coach.
One of 52 newest Gillig to join the fleet VTA summer of 2001.
- 1001 was towed in with malfunctioning of the braking system. This coach is under heavy
testing and assessments before the remaining 51 coaches arrive.

This fleet have an amber colored LED destination sign, so, that buses will be more visable and readable long distances.

Inside shot, notice the two steps in the back of the coach.

These two steps are in rear of the coach, and have
yellow LED markings so that riders will be more careful and, cautious not to trip or fall.
