that powers this program. The way this program works is very simple. By participating you will be able to send your promotional emails to everyone else who is currently participating. By joining you are agreeing to receive promotional emails from all of our current members in return for sending yours. You should not use your primary email address. This is a highly targeted safelist since everyone in this program is actively involved in Internet Marketing. The addresses are current and valid since they are updated weekly. Each member must enter an email address each week where they will receive the current list. This is basically an opt-in Safelist, but you have much more freedom in mailing the other members. It is "safe" because all the participants opt-in and agree to receive your messages in return for sending theirs. Click here to read our Terms and Conditions for participating in this program.

Why are there leads on this week's list that were also on last week's?
The list each week is comprised of all the members who are currently participating in this program, both new and continuing. There are new members joining us every week. The current list will contain both new members and those members who have joined in the past and are still participating in this program.
Why can I only send messages to addresses on the current week's list?
If someone decides to opt-out, that means they are no longer willing to receive messages from other participants who wish to continue in this program. If you send messages to people from a previous list who have opted-out, you will be spamming. If you only send to addresses on the current list, you can be sure you are sending to people who still want to participate in this program.
It is important that all members only send messages to addresses on the most current list and discard all past week's list as members who have unsubscribed from this program will have been removed on each new weekly list.
Why must I fill in a form every week?
This is to help ensure that all leads and addresses are current and valid. It will weed out addresses that have been disabled or are over-quota. If someone enters an invalid address, they will not receive the current list, and that address will not appear on the next week's list.
A new list will be available beginning on Monday of each week. This list will contain new members who have joined as well as all currently participating members.
After filling in the form each week, you will automatically be sent a message containing a link to the current leads. You may, of course, unsubscribe at any time by not filling in the form on any given week. Each week's list will only contain addresses of people who filled in the form the prior week.
Since some email providers are overly ambitious about filtering SPAM, be sure to check your SPAM or BULK folder to see if your confirmation message has been placed there instead of your inbox.
To ensure that you receive all of our messages, add our email address to your address book or white list. You may also create a filter that will place all messages containing the phrase "Your Hot Leads" in the subject line to your inbox or another folder.
Why can't I use a program that uses filters to protect me from SPAM?
Our program operates on the premise that by participating you have already agreed to receive promotional emails from all of our members and in return may send your promotions to them. Messages sent to your mailbox from members of this program are not SPAM because you have agreed to receive them by participating in this program. SPAM filters cannot discern the difference between a promotional email you have agreed to receive and one that you have not. Therefore, these filters are not compatible with a program such as this.
Spam filters that require a member to enter their information in order to be on someone's approved senders list are also not compatible with this program. Our members must be able to freely send their promotional emails within the boundaries of our program to all other members. By signing up for this program you have already agreed to receive messages from our members and therefore cannot require further screening.
I have unsubscribed from the autoresponder or I have not filled in the form this week. Why am I still getting emails from other members?
If you don't fill in the form this week, your information will not appear on next week's list. Since you filled in the form last week, your information is included on this week's list.
If you unsubscribe from the autoresponder it will take a week for your information to be removed from the list. This is done to prevent people from subscribing to the program to collect the current list and then unsubscribing before their information is posted the following week. By filling in the form you are agreeing to receive promotional messages the following week from other members in return for sending yours.
Why do you ask that aol.com, excite.com and hotmail.com addresses not be used?
These email providers have gotten so overly ambitious in filtering SPAM that it's nearly impossible to send any type of messages to those addresses, even email you agree to receive.
How do I import the leads into an autoresponder?
The second window on the leads page has them formatted in .csv (comma separated value) format. Most autoresponders use this format to import and export leads. The fourth window has the leads separated by a tab, another popular format.
If your autoresponder uses something other than commas or tabs to separate the information, you can use the "find and replace" features of your word processor to replace the commas with something else. When using an autoresponder, you should use a separate one for your Hot Leads. That way you can easily delete all the outdated leads and import the current list every week.
What if I don't use an autoresponder?
You can paste multiple email addresses into the BCC (blind carbon copy) field of your regular email program. The leads are available in the required format for this (email addresses separated by a comma) in the third window of the leads page. If you use this method you must not paste multiple addresses into either the To or CC (carbon copy) fields or you will be in violation of anti-SPAM legislation since all of the addresses will be visible to the recipients of your message. Instead, place your own email address in the To field and paste the multiple addresses into the BCC field. Depending on which email program you use, you may not be able paste all the leads into the BCC field at one time. If you don't know how to use the BCC field, click here for a page that explains how in many different email clients. The page will open in a new window.
Do I have to promote or recruit new members in order to receive my Hot Leads?
No. This service is completely free and no recruiting is required. However, if you'd like to help this safelist grow you can by giving this program away as a free gift to your potential customers, advertising this program in Safelists and Traffic Exchange Programs or by exchanging reciprocal links with this site. A Word To The Wise
You will NOT succeed in Internet Marketing by spamming. You WILL succeed by developing a lasting relationship and trust with your contacts. That is what this list is intended to accomplish. Please use it responsibly and abide by our Terms and Conditions.
Terms and Conditions
This list is intended to be a safe way for us all to share and promote our programs. In order for this to be the case, each member must participate by following these very simple guidelines:
You will not participate in any form of SPAMMING. This includes sending messages with more than one address in the TO or CC (carbon copy) fields. You may place your own email address in the TO field and paste multiple addresses in the BCC (blind carbon copy field) as addresses placed there will not be visible to the recipients of your message.
You will send messages only to addresses on the current week's list. Past members who unsubscribe will be removed from the current list but may still be included on previous lists. If you send messages to a previous list you may be emailing members who have unsubscribed and that could be considered spamming.
You will limit your mailings to one per day. Annoying your contacts with multiple daily messages will not end in success for your marketing efforts and will be considered SPAM.
You will enter a valid email address that will not block any messages from other participants in this program or continually bounce messages due to a mailbox that is over quota. The address you enter must not lead to an autoresponder of any kind which includes Yahoo! Accounts set to send auto responses.
You will not sell, rent or give the leads you receive from this program to any other person.
You will not send messages that could be considered offensive or that contain or have attached any form of a virus. You will use subject lines that pertain to your message and are not misleading in any way.
You will include at the bottom of your messages the following text to identify yourself as participating in the Links Across The Web Hot Leads Program:
To copy the text, click highlight at the bottom of the box above, then choose Copy from the Edit menu of your browser.
SPAMMING is a very serious offense, punishable by law, so please use this list wisely and be courteous to all the members.
