| DINGWALL, Netta S. (Newhook) - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Saturday, February 13, 1999, Netta S. (Newhook) Dingwall. Aged 85 years. Predeceased by her parents: Robert Frederick Newhook and Beatrice Julia (Spurrell) Newhook; and two brothers: Fred (Dec. 1997) and Harry (Oct. 1998). Netta was a school teacher for 25 years. She taught at Holloway School and Prince of Wales College in St. John's and at Howley and Grand Falls. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband of 59 years, Alexander Rexford (Rex) Dingwall (Masonic Park); daughter Marilyn Ryan (Don), St. John's; son Robert (Patti), Jamestown, B.B.; grandchildren: Nancy Ryan (Dean Cooze), C.B.S., Aaron Dingwall, Ottawa, Jim Ryan (Joey Elias), Halifax, Christian Dingwall, Ottawa. She will be remembered too by a number of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, as well as by many friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, Sunday: 7-9 p.m. and Monday: 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service from Barrett's Chapel at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 1999.
