Robert Batstone (of St. John's) and Sarah Ann Noble (of Nippers Harbour) were married at Nippers Harbour on July 24,1860. (PANL V87).

According to John Montague, "Robert Batstone one of the sons of Maria and John Charles married four times first to Sara Ann Noble then to my wife's grandmother Ellen ??"

Robert David Batstone of Robert & Sarah (NOBLE) was born on May 6, 1877 at Nippers Harbour, and baptized on May 13, 1877. (PANL - Newfoundland Vital Statistics, Volume 90, Methodist Baptisms).

Mary Knight BATSTONE of Nippers Harbour was buried on January 9, 1877 (age 3 years and 6 months). She was the daughter of Robert Batstone and Sarah Ann Noble (PANL - Methodist Parish Record Burials: Nippers Harhour / Tilt Cove Circuit Feb 1875 - May 1894). Her headstone has the date of death as January 22, 1877.

Eliza BATSTONE of Nippers Harbour was buried on November 19, 1877 (age 6 years). She was the daughter of Robert Batstone and Sarah Ann Noble (PANL - Methodist Parish Record Burials: Nippers Harhour / Tilt Cove Circuit Feb 1875 - May 1894). Her headstone has the date of death as November 16, 1877.

Robert BATSTONE of Nippers Harbour was buried on March 18 or 28, 1880 (age 3 years). He was the son of Robert Batstone and Sarah Ann Noble (PANL - Methodist Parish Record Burials: Nippers Harhour / Tilt Cove Circuit Feb 1875 - May 1894).
