Virtue was from Bear Cove. Perhaps her maiden name was While or Wheler?
The 1921 Census for Jackson's Cove says Virtue was born in July 1880 in Little Bay.
According to the 1921 census for Jackson's Cove Melvina Pelly was the adopted daughter of Charles Wm Batstone.
It also lists her as being born in Nick's Nose Cove. Other sources say she was from Rattling Brook.
William and Milley had a son and two daughters. After Milley died William married his brother's widow, Sebina.
The obituary of Sebina (Janes) Knight. Her father was named John.
Sebina and Frank had no children.
Eric served in the Navy in WW2.
