Matthew Calahan, a widower from Rabbits Arm, a fisherman & Lucretia Langdon, a spinster from
Jacksons Cove were married on August 17, 1888 at Jacksons Cove in a Methodist ceremony. Witnesses
were Henry A Langdon and Fanny Langdon.
The 1921 Census for Spencer's Dock has her listed as Lucy Calahan, born in August 1863.
He was also known as Nat Callahan and was from Pilley's Island.
There was an Arthur Calahan (b. 1889 at Jackson's cove) and his family listed in the 1921 Census
for Pilley's Island. He may have been the son of Nat and Lucy.
