Hutchinson's Nfld Directory 1865 : St. John's: "Samuel Knight, Hardware proprietor, 'Knights Home' (a hotel)...".

His baptism was listed in the PANL records as April 20 (no year). Barbara Pederson reported that the Little Bay Islands United Church Records lists only the baptism year and it's 1868.

Samuel Armstrong Knight, age 23, a bachelor from Jacksons Cove, a laborer & Maria Fanny Langdon, age 20, a spinster from Jacksons Cove were married on December 18, 1890 at Jacksons Cove in a Methodist ceremony. Witnesses were J.W. Knight and Rebecca Jane Wells.

Samuel was born, baptized, died, and buried at Jackson's cove.

Allen Beagan reported her name as Mariah Langdon.

Susie was from Nipper's Harbour. She died and was buried at Jackson's Cove.
