The length of time it takes to make your cake depends on the complexity of the design and number of tiers.

Lisa's Velvety Cakes only uses quality ingredients and seasonal fruits in our desserts.

If I want to use fresh flowers on my cake, will you coordinate with my florist, or will I have to manage getting the flowers
to you?
Lisa's Velvety Cakes will be more than happy to coordinate with your florist.

Do you have a portfolio of previous wedding cakes you've made that we can look at?
Yes. Please schedule an appointment to view our portfolio.

Do you have or can you rent items like cake toppers, stands, tiers, fountains, and cutters? Will we be billed extra?
We have various items for rent for an additional fee.

Will you do a custom wedding cake, or are there a set number of designs for us to choose from?
Our creativity allows us to design a wedding cake around your specifications.

Are your wedding cakes priced by the serving? Is there a price list I can take home with me to study?
All cakes are priced by the serving. Prices listed are general, as various factors will affect the final price of your cake.

Is there an extra cost for special fillings or details?
Special fillings such as fresh fruit or alcohol-based fillings are additional.

Can you give me a written proposal I can take home?
After our initial meeting, you will receive an estimate within 48 hours.

Do you do deliver? How much does it cost? Will the delivery person be able to make emergency frosting or decoration
repairs
Shipping, handling and set up fees are $30.00 for every 1/2 hour of drive and set up time. We come prepared to make emergency cake
repairs.

How much of a retainer do you require?
As we only do one wedding per day, a 40% retainer is required to secure your date.
