March 3, 2008:

Hey All,

Greetings New Jersey/New York, Chicago, Las Vegas and Geneva Beatle fans!!! Thanks for all the great comments and song suggestions posted on our website guestbook. We love hearing from you!

Hope everyone is gearing up for the ’08 Fests. We have been hard at work to pull off some very cool selections from the Beatle catalogue. Much of the focus will feature celebrating the 40th anniversary of the White Album as well as a cross section of songs spanning from the early rockers to the heavier later material.

We plan to rock the coolest audiences any band could ask for. Coming to the shows from around the country and around the world, you are the best, indeed!

But wait, there’s more!!!! The guest lineups that we’ll be backing up for this year’s shows are simply amazing! We’re reuniting with former members of Wings, Donovan, Spencer Davis, the "Rutle-ly" Amazing Neil Innes, the Mersey’s own Bill J. Kramer, Ringo Producer and house maniac performer Mark Hudson, and the list goes on. Every city has a total rocker lineup.

At the NJ show, we’ll be honored to introduce the cast of the recently released film, Across The Universe, who are coming to perform their versions of Beatle songs from the soundtrack with us. This should absolutely rock!

Anyway, enough for now…

Cannot wait to see our friends and families from across the USA for some memorable weekends of rock and roll!!!!

One more thing: Liverpool will once again be performing at the Geneva, Illinois “Swedish Festival” on June 17th, in an outdoor show free to the public. Last year was amazing. This town absolutely rocks! Hope to see a few more Chicago Festers there this time.

Please keep writing the band…we love to hear from ya…

Peace and Love,
Liverpool

August 8, 2007: Well, the Fest For Beatles Fans in Chicago has come and gone in a flash, but the vibe lives on. First, we want to thank all our friends and fans for your enthusiasm and continued support. Your kind words are really appreciated and your suggestions are always welcome! Did someone say "more solo stuff" for next year???

We also want to once again thank Terry Sylvester of the Hollies for joining us for some memorable rock and roll such as Carrie Anne, He Ain't Heavy, and Long Cool Woman as well as the rocker from his Swinging Blue Jeans days, Hippie Hippie Shake. Then there's the Little Richard-esque vocals of the "mild mannered" Mark Hudson (Hudson Brother, Ringo Producer and Roundhead, Solo Artist), who followed Terry by turning the house upside down with some straight ahead Beatle rockers. We were drenched by the end of the show! It was also great to see the Quarrymen perform again and hear their heartwarming stories. Really a great bunch of guys...

Next, off to The State Theater in New Brunswick, New Jersey to do a double bill with "The Smithereens", where they will be performing their new album "Meet The Smithereens".

Well, time to go for now. It was great to see you all again and we hope to keep you at the edge of your seats the next time we meet...

July 11, 2007 : We're working on the finishing touches for the Chicago Fest and we need your help. We've set up another poll so you can vote for some songs you'd like us to play. This is a "theme-based" poll, so to find out what we have in store, Voting has ended...click to see results

July 5, 2007 : Back from Vegas!! We had an amazing time preforming for you all at the Mirage for the first-ever Fest For Beatles' Fans held in Las Vegas. It was an honor to get to play with Denny Laine, Laurence Juber and Denny Seiwell, all on the same stage!! We also had a great time backing up Peter and Gordon once again. Then, there were extended jams with the one-and-only Mark Hudson that kept us all on our toes! And, of course, there was a surprise guest on Tuesday night...the legendary bassist Phil "Fang" Volk from Paul Revere and the Raiders, who joined us for a few numbers. With all that, and our own shows to boot, we're still spinning!!!

We'd also like to give special thanks to a few more musicians that helped make the shows a little "extra" special. Firstly, thanks to the Vegas Horns for adding their magic and giving that little "something" to make the songs come alive! Kudos to Steve Meyer on Trombone, Bill King on Trumpet and Jeff Jordan on Tenor Sax! Also, thanks to Jeff Ross, multi-instrumentalist extrodinnaire and Peter & Gordon's musical director, for adding your special touch (and banjo, too!) to the P&G sets!

But, most importantly, thanks to all of you who came down and made this Fest a truly special one for us. If it weren't for you all, and your love of the Beatles, this could never have been possible!!

June 27, 2007 : A few things: First off, we're getting prepped for the "First Ever" Las Vegas Fest for Beatles Fans! Lots of music, great guests, and loads of fun. Looking forward to performing with Wings, Peter & Gordon, and Mark Hudson. We've also been told that there will be a few surprises, but we're not allowed to "spill the beans"!!

Second, Liverpool will be performing with the Smithereens at the State Theater in New Brunswick, NJ, on Friday, August 17th. It's going to be a Beatle-filled evening! Click here for more details!

Thirdly, we've posted up some pictures from the Geneva Sommerfest. Thank you Joan for the fine shots!! And, of course, a special thanks to Judy and the entire Geneva Chamber of Commerce for making our stay a memorable one!!

Finally, with all the goings-on, we've got a special show in store for Chicago. We're also going to set up another poll so you guys vote on some songs you'd like us to play. It should be up and running within the next few weeks!

May 26, 2007 : Hey all!! We're just getting ready for our Summer 2007 Tour and we're looking forward to seeing you all! With the kind help of our friend Jamie, we've just added a new VIDEO link...check it out!! We're also planning on adding some more recent photos as well as plenty more fan photos. More to come so, as they say, stay tuned...

March 18, 2007 : Just got back from the NY/NJ fest. First off, we'd like to thank you all for making our shows so special! Despite the crazy weather we had up here in the NYC area, you guys came out! Also, thanks for helping us choose some of our set list! It worked out so well that we'll probably do it for our other upcoming shows!

The lineup of guests this year was great. Getting to play with the legendary Norman "Hurricane" Smith was very special to us all. He hadn't performed live since Johnny Carson in 1973, so it was a great privilege, indeed.

Also, special thanks to Terry Sylvester, Mark Rivera and Mark Hudson for rocking with us. Playing those Hollies songs with Terry was so much fun. Then there was Mark Rivera playing "Lady Madonna", "Savoy Truffle" and "Good Morning, Good Morning" with us. That was so cool, especially hearing those baritone sax notes in "Truffle" and "GM,GM"!! And what fest would be complete without Mark Husdon rocking the house with his renditions of "Long Tall Sally", "I'm Down", "Oh, Darling", "Kansas City", and, his own original from the 70s, "So You Are A Star".

Great times and more to come in the year ahead!

Once again, THANK YOU ALL!!!

Feb 15, 2007 : We just found out that Ringo's Musical Director, Saxophonist Mark Rivera, will be joining us at the New York Metro Fest!!!

Feb 6, 2007 : Thanks to all of you who have submitted photos. It looks like we're going to have a page chock-full of pictures in the coming weeks. Jan 19, 2007 : We are now working on our setlist for the 2007 NYC area show. We have chosen five songs from which you can choose, and help us with our planning. Voting has ended - thanks !!

Jan 17, 2007 : Liverpool launches their Official Website. The site will be loaded with info about the band, pictures of past shows, and it will also serve as an interactive "sounding board" for fans to submit requests, share stories, and communicate with the band. Thank you all for helping us make this happen!
