Controller mounted here allows easy access to power on/off.

12 volt 20 watt halogen lamp that you can get at most hardware stores. Very good for night travel. Forget about those $140.00+ systems they sell at bike shops. Put this DIY system together for about $70.00. Powered by a 13.2-volt, 5000mAH NiMH battery, available at www.BatterySpace.com. Burn time is approximately 3 hours before recharge.

Case didn't come with a carrying handle so I fabricated using an inexpensive and strong strap from www.strapworks.com

. . . and what would a commute be without frills?

eonyxpic10a.jpg

Yup. Hauling loads is not an issue. Climbing hills is literally "no sweat". The trailer (cardboard box container and wood base not included) is available at BicycleR Evolution (www.bikerev.com). Weight capacity is 150lbs. Have hauled loads in excess of 120 lbs. Mind the speed when doing corners as with any trailer.

Safety first. A nice LED light flasher with safety flag companion. Both available at most bike shops.
