Farm News
5/9/05 - This was a very long day, between our auction purchases arriving and sending out no less than fourteen horses. Tarnished Victory picked up her second stakes victory by a nose in the GII Istanbul Queen Stakes. Two-year-old fillies Fromrussiawithlove and Jamin both won their debuts, Fromrussiawithlove wiring it and Jamin putting in a fine closing run.
5/9/05 - We returned from the delayed mixed auction with three new additions to our stable. Four year old allowance 'chaser Sword In Stone and maiden filly Haar will both be joining our racing string. Elusive Pegasus, a Shadow Chaser colt, will be coming to Avalon at weaning.
5/2/05 - Although our first batch of two-year-olds showed nothing, three-year-old Lord Hern finally broke his maiden in style, wiring the seven furlong race.
4/11/05 - Dropped back into Allowance company to give her confidence after a string of disappointing runs, Tarnished Victory won neatly over the boys. And Be Em Double You appeared to love the mud, wiring her maiden in fine style.
4/4/05 - Our promising 'chaser Peter Rabbit pulled off his fourth win from five runs, taking an open over just over a mile from Oak Lane Farm's Highland Riddler, despite never having run over such a long distance.
3/28/05 - Devil's Desire colt Incubus won a starter allowance in fine closing style over Jack Duggan and Dual Appeal.3/21/05 - Our filly Victory Note has been retired to the broodmare barn, after bone chips were found after her race today. She will be bred to By The Sword.
3/12/05 - Our last foal of the year was also the last foal from our Great Image mare, Silken Image, who has now been retired from breeding. Jester's Motley is a somewhat scrawny colt by Fool's Gold with a really interesting shaped blaze
NOTE: This is for a simulation game. None of these horses are real.
