Nibiru's ruler at
dawn of Sumer:
Anu
Sons of (half brothers):
Enki = Ea
Enlil
Some of the next
generation:
Dumuzi & Ziusudra &
Marduk = Ra
Ninurta &
Nannar = Sin & Ishkur = Adad
Daughters of Nannar:

Inanna = Ishtar

According to the Sumerians, these are the Anunnaki - "Those Who from Heaven to Earth Came" (from Nibiru to Earth).
This information comes from the glossary of "The Lost Book of Enki" translated by Zecharia Sitchin.
Some additional descriptions which are most enlightening:
Antu: Spouse of Anu.
Enki: Ea's epithet-title after the division of duties and powers between him and his half-brother and rival Enlil; father of Marduk ... fathered five other sons by concubines and also children by Earthling females. (Called Ptah in Egypt.)
Enlil: Son of Anu and his sister-spouse Antu and thus the Foremost Son entitled to the succession to Nibiru's throne ahead of firstborn Ea; ... sent to Earth to organize wide-scale gold-obtainment operations; ... opposed the fashioning of the Earthlings, sought Mankind's demise by the Deluge; authorized the use of nuclear weapons against Marduk.
Marduk: Firstborn son and legal heir of Enki and Damkina; worshiped as Ra in Egypt; jealous of his brothers, unsatisfied with Egypt alone as his domain, claimed and after exiles and wars attained supremacy on Earth from his city Babylon.
Nannar: Son of Enlil and Ninlil, the first Anunaki leader to be born on Earth; patron god of Urim (Ur) and Harran; associated with the Moon; known as Sin in Akkadian; father of Utu and Inanna.
Nimul: Mother of Ea/Enki by Anu; not being an official spouse and half sister, her son, though firstborn, lost the succession to Enlil, whose mother was Antu.
Satu: Son of Marduk and Sarpanit, the Egyptian god known as Seth.
Shar: One orbital period of Nibiru around the Sun, equal to 3,600 Earth years.
Ziusudra: Hero of the Deluge, a son of Enki by an Earthling (the biblical Noah).

Who Were the Giants?

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
Gen 6:4 NIV
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Gen 6:4 KJV

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days - and also afterward - when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them." But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.
Gen 6:4-8 NIV

They gave Moses this account: "We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there. The Amalekites live in the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan.
We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them."
Num 13:27-29, 33 NIV

But you were unwilling to go up; you rebelled against the command of the LORD your God. You grumbled in your tents and said, "The LORD hates us; so he brought us out of Egypt to deliver us into the hands of the Amorites to destroy us. Where can we go? Our brothers have made us lose heart. They say, 'The people are stronger and taller than we are; the cities are large, with walls up to the sky. We even saw the Anakites there.' "
Deut 1:26-28 NIV

The LORD our God said to us at Horeb, "You have stayed long enough at this mountain. Break camp and advance into the hill country of the Amorites; go to all the neighboring peoples in the Arabah, in the mountains, in the western foothills, in the Negev and along the coast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the Euphrates. See, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land that the LORD swore he would give to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—and to their descendants after them."
Deut 1:6-8 NIV

He struck down many nations and killed mighty kings - Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan and all the kings of Canaan - and he gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to his people Israel.
Ps 135:10-12 NIV

Hear, O Israel. You are now about to cross the Jordan to go in and dispossess nations greater and stronger than you, with large cities that have walls up to the sky. The people are strong and tall—Anakites! You know about them and have heard it said: "Who can stand up against the Anakites?" But be assured today that the LORD your God is the one who goes across ahead of you like a devouring fire. He will destroy them; he will subdue them before you. And you will drive them out and annihilate them quickly, as the LORD has promised you.
Deut 9:1-3 NIV

And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan: ...
And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:
Josh 15:5, 8 KJV

(The Emites used to live there—a people strong and numerous, and as tall as the Anakites. Like the Anakites, they too were considered Rephaites, but the Moabites called them Emites. Horites used to live in Seir, but the descendants of Esau drove them out. They destroyed the Horites from before them and settled in their place, just as Israel did in the land the LORD gave them as their possession.)
Deut 2:10-12 NIV
The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims. The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the LORD gave unto them.
Deut 2:10-12 KJV

The Israelites lived among the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. They took their daughters in marriage and gave their own daughters to their sons, and served their gods. The Israelites did evil in the eyes of the LORD; they forgot the LORD their God and served the Baals and the Asherahs.
Judg 3:5-7 NIV

And it came to pass on the morrow, that Balak took Balaam, and brought him up into the high places of Baal ...
Num 22:41 KJV

Among the prophets of Samaria I saw this repulsive thing: They prophesied by Baal and led my people Israel astray.
Jer 23:13 NIV

The Babylonians who are attacking this city will come in and set it on fire; they will burn it down, along with the houses where the people provoked me to anger by burning incense on the roofs to Baal and by pouring out drink offerings to other gods.
They built high places for Baal in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molech, though I never commanded, nor did it enter my mind, that they should do such a detestable thing and so make Judah sin.
Jer 32:29, 35 NIV

'Then you crossed the Jordan and came to Jericho. The citizens of Jericho fought against you, as did also the Amorites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hittites, Girgashites, Hivites and Jebusites, but I gave them into your hands. I sent the hornet ahead of you, which drove them out before you—also the two Amorite kings. You did not do it with your own sword and bow. So I gave you a land on which you did not toil and cities you did not build; and you live in them and eat from vineyards and olive groves that you did not plant.'
Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your forefathers worshiped beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.
Josh 24:11-15 NIV

And Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah; All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out. Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites, nor the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day.
Josh 13:11-13 KJV

Again the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the LORD. They served the Baals and the Ashtoreths, and the gods of Aram, the gods of Sidon, the gods of Moab, the gods of the Ammonites and the gods of the Philistines. And because the Israelites forsook the LORD and no longer served him, he became angry with them. He sold them into the hands of the Philistines and the Ammonites, who that year shattered and crushed them. For eighteen years they oppressed all the Israelites on the east side of the Jordan in Gilead, the land of the Amorites.
Judg 10:6-8 NIV

Now the Philistines had come and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim;
2 Sam 5:18 NIV

Moreover the Philistines had yet war again with Israel; and David went down, and his servants with him, and fought against the Philistines: and David waxed faint. And Ishbi-benob, which was of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose spear weighed three hundred shekels of brass in weight, he being girded with a new sword, thought to have slain David. But Abishai the son of Zeruiah succoured him, and smote the Philistine, and killed him. Then the men of David sware unto him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us to battle, that thou quench not the light of Israel.
And it came to pass after this, that there was again a battle with the Philistines at Gob: then Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Saph, which was of the sons of the giant.
And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam.
And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant. And when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea the brother of David slew him.
These four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
2 Sam 21:15-22 KJV

In accordance with the LORD's command to him, Joshua gave to Caleb son of Jephunneh a portion in Judah - Kiriath Arba, that is, Hebron. (Arba was the forefather of Anak.) From Hebron Caleb drove out the three Anakites - Sheshai, Ahiman and Talmai - descendants of Anak.
Josh 15:13-14 NIV

Then the men of Judah went with the Simeonites their brothers and attacked the Canaanites living in Zephath, and they totally destroyed the city. Therefore it was called Hormah. The men of Judah also took Gaza, Ashkelon and Ekron - each city with its territory.
The LORD was with the men of Judah. They took possession of the hill country, but they were unable to drive the people from the plains, because they had iron chariots. As Moses had promised, Hebron was given to Caleb, who drove from it the three sons of Anak. The Benjamites, however, failed to dislodge the Jebusites, who were living in Jerusalem; to this day the Jebusites live there with the Benjamites.
Judg 1:17-21 NIV

At that time Joshua went and destroyed the Anakites from the hill country: from Hebron, Debir and Anab, from all the hill country of Judah, and from all the hill country of Israel. Joshua totally destroyed them and their towns. No Anakites were left in Israelite territory; only in Gaza, Gath and Ashdod did any survive.
Josh 11:21-22 NIV

On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram and said, "To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates - the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites."
Gen 15:18-21 NIV

The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put and Canaan.

Cush was the father of Nimrod, who grew to be a mighty warrior on the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; that is why it is said, "Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD." The first centers of his kingdom were Babylon, Erech, Akkad and Calneh, in Shinar. From that land he went to Assyria, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah and Resen, which is between Nineveh and Calah; that is the great city.

Mizraim was the father of the Ludites, Anamites, Lehabites, Naphtuhites, Pathrusites, Casluhites (from whom the Philistines came) and Caphtorites.

Canaan was the father of Sidon his firstborn, and of the Hittites, Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites, Hivites, Arkites, Sinites, Arvadites, Zemarites and Hamathites. Later the Canaanite clans scattered and the borders of Canaan reached from Sidon toward Gerar as far as Gaza, and then toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.

Gen 10:6, 8-19 NIV

The Nephilim or "Giants" Were the Anakim (KJV) or Anakites (NIV)

The Anakites are descendants of the 3 sons of Anak. These people include:

The Canaanites, Amalekites, Hittites, Jebusites, Amorites, Emites, Horites,
Perizzites, Hivites, Girgashites, Geshurites, Maachathites, Philistines and the Kingdom of Og.

Conclusion

The Bible states that the “sons of God” mated with human women to produce a race of giants, a hybrid race called the Nephilim. They were men of renown, which can be good or bad depending on one’s goals and motivations. For the majority of these references, the Bible casts their intentions in a negative light and warns of these beings. In fact, Genesis implies that the Nephilim had a strong hand in the evil that was in this world and were a major reason for sending the Great Flood.

Since these “sons of God” mated with women, they are physical beings. The Hebrew word Nephilim carries the sense of “fallen”. So what kind of beings would be seen as “sons” of God yet not represent the kingdom of heaven? The ancient Israelites perceived them as superior. One logical explanation is that they were alien travelers from another world whose superior technology made them appear as gods to the ancients.

This perception is supported by many ancient cultures, including the oldest known civilization, the Sumerians. Their cuneiform texts speak specifically of beings that came from the sky to the earth. (By the way, the Gesenius’s Lexicon for Nephilim says the Chaldean version points to the constellation Orion, as do the pyramids at Giza.) The eminent scholar Zecharia Sitchin has translated many of these ancient texts.

The ancients perceived these alien space travelers as gods and worshiped them as such. This can be seen by tracing the Canaanite gods of Baal and Ashtoreth to the Anunnaki named Ishkur and Inanna, whose ancestors came from the planet Nibiru, as recorded by the Sumerians.

However, around the same time arose Abraham who knew there was an ultimate single Creator who made even the Anunnaki. Abraham heard the call of the ultimate Creator and came out of Ur in the land of Babylon. Later, Moses recorded the information that would one day help us to know the difference again. I believe Moses wrote Genesis in such a way that the paradoxes presented could only be resolved by seeking the knowledge recorded by the Sumerians.

Some of the Anunnaki have helped us but the majority has their own interest at heart. Due to their advanced knowledge and power, they have had an undue influence over most of our history. The first clue is the Great Flood and the effort by God to remove their negative control from this planet. But the Bible warns that a remnant remains (some probably bypassed the flood on other stations in this solar system, such as on Mars).

When one carefully traces the races of the giants that are identified in the Bible, the startling conclusion is that they were the Canaanites, Philistines, Amorites, Hittites, Jebusites and pretty much the primary occupants of the land God promised to give to the Israelites. So if one pays careful attention to the details of the Bible, when God sent Moses to bring His people out of Egypt and into the Promised Land, one of God's purposes was to raise an army to battle alien invaders! The original Canaanites were the descendants of alien conquerors! This certainly puts a completely different perspective on the justification for God to order the Canaanites and their gods destroyed. And considering the genetic influence on people and livestock of making hybrids, it now makes sense why God ordered Moses to completely destroy all aspects of certain peoples, including their children and livestock.

Lastly, consider that when God brings judgment He always does it through some aspect of physical reality, not by a miraculous creation. When God brought judgment against the kingdoms of Israel and Judah, He used Assyria and Babylon, the cities created by the early descendants of the Anunnaki. When God brings judgment in the end-times it will again be through the agency of some present reality. And so be forewarned that in the coming tribulation, the true King of Babylon will be Baal, a descendant of the Anunnaki, and the return of their planet will add to the impact upon this world.

Do not be impressed by displays of advanced technology. The ultimate power in the universe lies within and the Way of the Lord is the path to balance in the lower 4 centers and leads us up the mountain of self-control to open the gates to the inner sanctuary and the powers of love, mercy and compassion from the Most High to bring us into true maturity as sons and daughters of the Father. The Anunnaki also understand the 7 centers, the 7 “eyes of the Lord”, but their goal is to keep the lower 4 out of balance so that we never realize our full potential. Serving these gods will only keep our souls trapped in the cycle of life, rather then maturing and developing to truly higher states of being in harmony with our Creator’s intentions.

The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.
I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.
They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
Isa 13:1, 3, 5-6 KJV

Make ye mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah.
Jer 4:16 KJV

[Note: In both cases above, the Hebrew word for country is erets, often translated as "earth". The phrase "far country" could be translated as "far world", which certainly fits Isa 13:5 better.]

The earth is broken up, the earth is split asunder, the earth is thoroughly shaken.
The earth reels like a drunkard, it sways like a hut in the wind;
so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion that it falls—never to rise again.
In that day the LORD will punish the powers in the heavens above and the kings on the earth below.
Isa 24:19-21 NIV

It is enough for the student to be like his teacher, and the servant like his master. If the head of the house has been called Beelzebub, how much more the members of his household!
Mt 10:25 NIV

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
Mt 24:37 NIV

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Eph 6:12 NIV

References:

1. The majority of the information for the Canaanite gods and the many faces of Baal & Ashtoreth comes from the footnote for Judges 2:13 in the NIV study Bible.

2. The Sumerian / Akkadian text of the "Descent of Ishtar to the Underworld" is the source of our hell myth and it is a warning that names the Anunnaki as the guardians of the underworld. What this story says to me is that for those who worship these beings as gods, for those who wish to approach them, it will only result in the shutdown of your chakras, of your energy centers.
