One to One Marketing and Services

One to one marketing and services is the latest buzz word. It means that you treat each customer as an individual rather than a part of a mass market. You talk to customers on a one-to-one basis. The concept is not new. In ancient markets and not so ancient mom-and-pop stores, each customer was treated individually. Already twenty years ago academic lecturers talked about customizing tomato products to each individual customer. We are not quite there yet, but there are an awful lot of different tomato products on supermarket shelves. However, modern technology makes it more easy to accomplish. Computer aided manufacturing (CAM) makes it possible to customize products, also called mass customization. Interactive communications, like on the web, makes it possible to interact with individual customers. Listen to their requirements and tell them how you can satisfy them. Large customer databases makes it possible to keep track on the wants and needs of each customer. Thus, in order to take advantage of One to One Marketing and Service you need to combine the activities of the Internet, your website(s), your databases, and your manufacturing automation.

Customer relations management (CRM) is another buzz word. 1-to-1 marketing is part of CRM.

Bertil C. Lindberg can assist you in all of these areas and in how to make them work together.
