Good gravy, people. Perhaps if you kept better control over what your kids ate at home and didn't buy crap and keep it in there, you wouldn't be freaking out over 23 whole extra cupcakes a year. And if you do keep such tight control over what you have at home that this is putting your knickers in a twist, lighten up. Trust me, a total ban on all small, yummy, bad for you items backfires big time. No wonder kids are totally messed up. .: posted by Lily Friday, June 04, 2004Thursday, June 03, 2004A little inter-show blogging here...Obligatory mention that I went up to Annapolis last night to see one Mr. G.M. Tilbrook. Very good show, if loud. I must be getting old -- the sound was up too high. Very good opening band, called something like 4 Way Street. Went with Mom, otherwise known as Helen to you all. A nice time was had by all, as apart from the volume problem, this place is a nice club with tables with good views and reserved seats. We ran into several people there who said they'd rather go to the show there than the one in Virginia, as they could sit down and everyone else would, too. So after the really long drive home and getting up to work at the normal time, I've decided I'm going to go the three blocks from my house to spend the evening with one....Mr. G.M. Tilbrook. I really want to be completely exhausted tomorrow, Kansas-level exhausted. One last fling before abject poverty, I suppose. Hey, this may be dull, but at least I'm blogging.
