Okay, I'm officially bored and playing with code again. I have added aBlogRoll to this website. I've put the usual suspects plus some that I read from time to time. Suggestions welcomed for new good blogs to add to the list.
Of course, I need an entry for "Where's Mike's Blog?".com.
Lily's Dirty Little Secret Song List
The following are the lone MP3s that were downloaded or "borrowed" from various places on the internet despite my better judgment. I make no real apologies for them -- they're catchy as hell.
1. (You Drive Me) Crazy -- Britney Spears. God do I wish her songs weren't so catchy. She needs a good spanking and some discipline, but whoever mixes her songs knows what they're doing.
2. Uninvited (Live) by Alanis Morissette. Can't help it -- love this song.
3. Letting the Cables Sleep -- Bush. I kind of liked it, but there was some ER episode that this song really played heavily in (it may have been the "very special George Clooney guest shot" one, but I forget) and it just keeps going through my head. I do have some Bush album somewhere, but it wasn't this good.
4. Forever and Ever, Amen -- Randy Travis. I'm sorry, but this really is a nifty love song.
I've desperately been trying to get Renegades of Funk by Rage Against the Machine, but iTunes doesn't seem to carry that Rage album. I find that odd -- you would think if they got the rights to resell the artist's stuff, they'd have it all, but there you go.

Not a good day in the entertainment world, we lost Paul Winfield and Robert Pastorelli today. Dear Elden -- he'll never get to finish that wall in Murphy's house now.
And I am once again a certified landless peasant. You wouldn't BELIEVE the bidding wars around here. This one went for at least $40k over asking AND the buyers waived the inspection and the assessment. Nice to have money to burn. Now I get to snoop in more houses.
I was actually relieved -- the more I thought about this place, the more I came to grips with the fact that I'm a girl who needs closets. It's a shameful fact, I know, but there it is in all it's ugly glory.

I think I got the best fake junk mail name today in my inbox: "Castrated F. Woolies". Mr. (or is it Ms. now?) Woolies is hawking the usual assortment of drugs, especially for those who have problems s/he doesn't have to worry about any longer.
I've put in another bid on a condo. This one would require some work, so I'm not sure if I'm excited to make everything the way I want it to be, or whether it's more trouble than it's worth. It needs new floors and carpet, for one thing. I saw some nice stuff at Home Depot (or Hell, as I like to think of it), but who wants to put that stuff down? I certainly am not going to do it myself. It's a good location and a decent price, but nothing's been updated since the place was built in 1987, so I'm walking into older, crummy stuff. It will be great when I've fixed it up, but that's down the road and probably another $15,000. So I'm not sure whether to have you all hope I get it, or hope I don't.
