In my weekend in Missouri, I was in my hotel room watching BBCWorld (nowhere near as good as BBC America -- this is news, news, news, Holiday, news and news) and the following item came on. "Clarence House has firmly denied certain unnamed allegations. We cannot tell you what the allegations are, due to a court injunction". WTF? So why say anything? And having been in Kansas, I really don't have a clue what he was nattering on about. From what I can figure out it has to do with one former royal servant casting aspersions about another former royal servant. Prince Charles may or may not have been involved, and there are undertones of homosexual activity, either willing or unwilling. I don't really care about what the story is, I just found it completely bizarre that the BBC is reporting on something that they can't talk about.The weather has changed in Kansas, with the primary theme being windy. It would be fun to be a kite today. I am exceedingly cranky, as after having gotten a good look at myself in a full length mirror in Missouri (one of the very few advantages of Kansas is no full length mirrors), it's well past time to firmly go back on my diet and give up all the foods my body can't process. So there's almost nothing to eat, I'm hungry, and I'm tired as the sugar beasts crawl on my back and start whispering in my ear. They're very common beasts out here.
