Rental Policies

Two-night minimum with the exception of the following: 4 night minimum over Thanksgiving; 5-night minimum over Christmas and New Years; 3 night minimum over all 3 day holiday weekends*.

Normal check-in time is 3:00 PM and Checkout time is 12:00 PM. However we can sometimes accommodate earlier/later times if made in advance

ABSOLUTELY NO PETS are allowed and there is NO SMOKING allowed in the cabin.

Off street parking is available for 4 vehicles but no motor homes are allowed for any use other than transportation.

While every effort will be made to keep the driveway and walkways clear there is no guaranteed snow removal due to changing weather conditions and snow depth.

Telephone service is provided for local calls only. Any outgoing long distance calls must be placed collect or by using a credit card and not charged to the cabin. A $10.00 per call minimum fee will be charged to anyone failing to place long distance calls as described above.

SECURITY DEPOSIT, RENTAL DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENT POLICY:

A refundable damages/cleaning deposit of $150 will be required on all rentals. If you leave the cabin as you found it and if you paid by credit card, no charge will be made against the card. If you paid by check, your deposit will be refunded within 14 days of the departure date.

On reservations made more than 14 days before your arrival date, a deposit of 50% of the total amount due is required at the time of the reservation.

Tentative telephone reservations must be confirmed within 3 days by mailing a check, money order or by placing your deposit on
a MasterCard or Visa.

The balance of the rent is due 14 days prior to your arrival date.

All holiday reservations must be paid in full no less than 30 days prior to arrival date or at the time of the reservation if less than 30 days.

Any reservations made within 14 days or less prior to your arrival date must be paid in full by using a Visa or MasterCard unless other arrangements have been made.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:

There will be a $25.00 service charge on all cancellations.

If the cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to your scheduled non-holiday arrival date, we will refund the balance of your deposit less the service charge.

No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 14 days prior to your non-holiday arrival date unless we are able to rent the cabin.

Refunds on Holiday period rentals will be made if cancellation is made no less than 30 days of arrival date, less service charge. Otherwise however, no refund unless we can rent the cabin for the same period.

There are no refunds for poor snow conditions, severe weather or poor road conditions with the exception, if all 3 routes into Big Bear are closed on your arrival date.
