Path of the Joker

Here is some information about me and my hobbies. I have a ton of interests so I'll be updating this with new stuff every so often. Click the picture to the right to get a bit larger view of one of my current projects. Due to a PC meltdown a while back I was forced to start over from scratch on it, and as I gather more funds and materials I'll continue adding to it.

Born and raised in North Carolina, I'm a southerner by birth and by choice. I've lived my entire life here, and even as boring as it is, I still love it. Following high school at Southwest Guilford(GO COWBOYS!), I spent 4 years at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte(GO NINERS!). I graduated in 2001 with degrees in MIS and Operations Management, and even though I don't exactly use these on a daily basis, I'm still of the same 'geeky' mind that these majors tend to produce.

I love to write and create, but I have ZERO artistic ability and can barely even doodle. As you can see I'm a HUGE City of Heroes fan, and I've been playing since a friend pulled me in shortly after it launched in 2004. I'm also an avid collector of movies and anime, and I'm always up for scouring stores for used copies of 'jewel in the rough' films that most people never enjoy the pleasure of seeing.

My Hobbies and Interests

-- City of Villains(hopefully I'll get into the beta)

-- Massive collection of DVD and VHS movies ranging from Sci-Fi to Drama

-- A large collection a anime spanning most genres

-- Tons of comic trade paperbacks

-- A small yet growing collection of manga.

Personal Favorites

-- Sin City = I first picked one of these comics up back when it first debuted and have been in love with the setting and characters ever since

-- Punisher = All time favorite comic hero and the largest chunk of my regular comic collection

-- Kindaichi Case Files = A murder mystery series and by far my favorite manga series

-- Priest = A dark horror/action manwha(Korean manga) and definitely a close second to the Kindaichi series
