The time is that mythical age before the Flood. An is Heaven; Enlil, Lord Sky, is one son; Enki, Lord Earth, another. Nanna is Enki's daughter and a powerful goddess. Marduk is Enki's son and the conqueror of the gods; he is also known (in Egypt) as Ra. Is Ra El?
